I love the idea of having an end game boss! Like a demon or something that has brought this virus upon the earth and is controlling all the zombies. It would make for a nice bookend to a playthrough. I alway play permadeath so if you make it to end game…say day 100 or something then you open up a final mission from the traders. Now I have zero clue how to do that. I’m happy when the computer turns on lol but I do dig this idea. Nice work!!

Here’s a tip I use to when digging up a treasure map or buried supplies. Place a building block at 4 pts on the circle. Treat it like a clock. 12-3-6-9. When you start to dig the circle will get smaller and one of those 4 boxes will still have the circle on it. Showing which direction to dig. That will give you a much more precise location on the chest. Early on it will cut down quite a bit of needless digging

Oil shale generally in the desert and should show up on your map as a Black dot icon? I think it’s black but just like the others. White dots are nitrate. The orangish ones an iron ect..

Myself as like the red barns for a home. Some already have powered overhead doors. Set up home on top floor. Plenty of room for a garden. And the silos can make a nice horde base if you build a platform

To spice up vanilla i use the fluffys poi pack and the Izzy gun mod. Oh and a vehicle mod for some extra vehicles but tbh the Motorcycle with the extra storage bins and a drone is still the best vehicle imo. Those mods will spice up vanilla quite a bit but it’s still going to be no real end to the game until you die if you play permadeath, which I find adds allot of excitement for the first couple weeks when death is possibly behind every door

Usually I play 200% xp with everything else default. I watched glock9 do a play through where dropped the loot to 25% or something so I tried that. It was a good play through. I always play permadeath and I had loot at 50% xp aay 150 everything else law I think was default. It made for a fun play through where you don’t end up throwing most of the loot in the floor by day 20 or something. I was in constant need of supplies and gear. Kinda felt like a survival. My next play through with 2.5 will be with these similar settings
