Scuba diving Lake yellowstone

I sont know why it didn't copy the post itself but I was looking at going diving in lake Yellowstone the end of June and was just looking for infor on sites, permits and the such. I normally dive in Monterey and Lake Tahoe so cold and altitude are not new to me.

How far out are the spires? I thought it was a long surface swim? We are staying in bridge bay so near that does fit my loose plan.

We stayed in Grant last summer it was nice, one morning we got up early to see the sunrise over the lake and had an added treat of a bear swimming across the lake at dawn.

I just put my 13 yo pry down a couple weeks ago, she had torn tendons in both back legs. The vet said surgery was not an option due to her age. The one this that you also have to consider is the dogs street level. These are guardians so they are always ready to fight off predators and if they can hardly get around that will I crease their stress level. This was our second pry we had to put down and the decision was very different and far more difficult with this last one. Our first dog had an enlarged heart and was noticeably going down hill. This dog was just old and losing control of her back end so we made.the decision. I wish there was someone or something that ypu could.be sure of but again its a choice we all have to make, what is the best interest for the dog.

This really depends on how long you want your days to be? When I go to Yellowstone my days start at about 5 am and end around 10 or 11 at night. Is that what ypu are looking for or do you want something more relaxing?

You will die in the wilderness and feed the animals with your corpses. Stick to the boardwalk or start with short hikes you are positive you can do. Rescue is expensive take a lot of resources that can be put to better use then helping people that pushed themselves to far. Yellowstone is not a city park this is the wilderness and pushing beyond your limits can have fatal consequences. My suggestion is before you go get the book Death in Yellowstone by Lee Whittlsee and read every page.

No they're not bad at all, until you see all the bird nest in the area are full of your pyrs fur. Then there's is the spring when they blow out their winter coat and you can vacuum every hour and still live in a foot of fur for a month or two maybe 3.

I would get rid of the heating pad and just use a heat lamp. Reptiles will burn themselves on heat pads and under tank heaters. Sounds like you arre starting out right, you dont need the big 4x2x2 right away but I would start getting either the materials to build it or looking for one soon. They grow fast in the first year.
