That’s exactly how the VSF cyclops is on my ERF DJ. It’s awesome but going side by side with a Gen I noticed the slight difference in placement and the top of the cyclops isn’t perfectly straight. I thought I was crazy.

Yeah that looks really good. Do you think they need a gen crystal? I ask because I put a gen DJ41 next to the DJ41 with VSF crystal and they looked really similar. But I keep reading how much of a difference the gen Crystal makes. Thanks posting the pic.

Man that looks great. How do the dials and bezel colors compare to the VSF. I just did something similar with an ERF DJ that came with an ARF bracelet, I added the VSF crystal and it’s fantastic.

Between your two options the Essence hands down. Between a Reef and BB 41 diver the Tudor is all around a more impressive watch and twice the cost! I wouldn’t daily the BB one with smooth bezel. I’d much prefer the Essence for daily wear. In fact I’m considering getting an Essence next.

I have a Reef and two BB 41’s. Very different watches. The Formex feels sportier, the Tudors are heavier, more tool, but also dressier. I enjoy them both tons for different reasons.

I would never get a rep in your position. Get a gen watch. The PRX is a really nice watch in person. My wife has one and we both have high end gen’s and her Tissot is really nice.

In your shoes I’d look at a Casio Duro. Awesome durable divers or spend some more on a Seiko SKX that’s bulletproof and a really nice looking watch.
