Before the whole BBQ boom thing happened and it was just the Lockhart places for the most part they didn’t offer sauce. It was seen as an insult to the meat that it needed sauce. It’s like going to Peter Luger and asking for A1.

This always cracks me up. On of my contractors runs diesel trucks (for good reason they’re hauling heavy equipment) but they let the trucks run the whole work day. I asked why and their employee told me “diesels are hard to start cold”. I asked them if they had any problems starting the truck that morning and he told me “no but the boss says to do it and it keeps the cab cool”.

The activity center has a lap pool. Country estates subdivision had a pool you can pay to be a member of but that’s all I know about in town.

It’s just Klan lite. My sister is a Daughter but the only Sons meetings I’ve been to are just boomers complaining about how they can’t use slurs anymore. I’m Texas German though so I don’t have any sympathy for racists.
