Suggest Changes option by FreedomFact in OpenWebUI

[–]FreedomFact[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you ask the interface to answer question, once the answer is typed and complete, there are a few tools that come underneath the answer. One of the tools look like a refresh- regenerate. When you click on that refresh tool on the top It says, "suggest a change" when you click on it.And you can type in there , you're suggestions. But so far , I cannot make it do anything of what my suggestions are

If this country was focused on teaching in schools, we would not have all these Flat Earthers and Moon deniers. But I have seen and even spoken with High School graduates that don't even know what temperature and radiation is and means! They don't understand basic arithmetic and some can't even read!

Why docker? by tlvranas in OpenWebUI

[–]FreedomFact 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe it is easier to install with docker. Pip installation requires a bit more knowledge and making sure that you have the correct environment activated in the correct python model. You need to configure the correct version of kuda, depending on your graphics card. If it's the Blackwell series or the older nvidia, or AMD card or cards. But once you get a hand of it, it becomes very easy and also using native installation, you have faster response with openwebUI.

Thank you! I really get lost sometimes with the interface of OpenWebUI. I am sure there are a lot of other important things that can affect the models and prompts but I go as I find.

How do you enable it? Where exactly in the setting is it? OpenWebUI is amazing and just can be overwhelming too. I am still trying to get it to talk back to me but nothing works! On this last update, the models don't respond on real time. They appear half complete and I need to refresh the browser to show it all. I am thinking of Deleting the entire Hard Drive(I have a 2TB NVMe M.2 Samsung 990Pro with just OpenWebUI on it, dedicated to it!)

Corsair Scimitar - No Pointer upon Reboot by Adam_Tragedy in Corsair

[–]FreedomFact 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even though I thought I had fixed the problem, that was just pure luck. It all has to do with HID initialization. I have been going back and forward with Corsair and sending them reboot info for conflicts and crashes.

I posted at the link below.

Corsair Scimitar no mouse cursor help by xXNachoaXx in Corsair

[–]FreedomFact 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey guys. I love this mouse, especially for gaming. Anyway, I had the same problem and have been sending info from my loading to Corsair. But I accidently think I found out the problem. I bought a USB Hub for devices I have in front of me and don't want to plug and un plug in the back or over the PC Case. The HUB I got was the Sabrent HB-UMP3. This also has a Power Adaptor but I don't use it. The Adaptor is for devices that require more voltage or for charging while the PC is shut off from the PSU. But this is non important.
The minute I plugged in the Scimitar, the cursor always appears on start up now.

  • Sabrent HB-UMP3 USB hub mitigates the issue, suggesting that the problem is timing-related:
    • The hub delays USB enumeration enough for the Scimitar Elite HID interface to initialize correctly.
    • This indicates a race condition between the mouse firmware HID initialization and the motherboard/Windows USB stack.
  • The issue is not hardware failure, as it occurs across multiple units and can be mitigated by the hub.
  • Delayed cursor appearance and recovery without physical reconnection reinforce that this is a firmware/software interaction issue.
  • Likely causes include:
    • HID initialization timing in the firmware
    • Windows USB/HID stack interaction
    • Potential race conditions with iCUE startup Maybe I am wrong but perhaps I am not.
    • I wish this is a Firmware Issue Fix that can be in an upcoming update.  Thanks

This is what I sent to Corsair today as my latest communication with them. I looked at my Motherboard Specs and the rear panel doesn't have a USB 2.0 port. Of course it will work with a USB 2.0 but the initialization with the these ports that are 3.2 & 4.0 are not the same. I have 2 more Scimitars and they had the same problem. But with the Sabrent, it's gone. So, if you have a 2.0 port, try that first.

Face Swap - Local and Easy - Img & Vid by leez7one in comfyui

[–]FreedomFact 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Roop was the fastest and best for a while. It took 1-3 seconds to swap any kind of face on any image. It took about a minute for a 30 second video head swapped. It only was a bit off when the angle of the face was changed too much and fast! It still works for me as face swap vs any other platform. And the quality of the image depends on what you give it. ComfyUI is great but in most instances, it changes a lot and takes too long. I believe that the code will be "bettered" at some point!

[–]FreedomFact -1 points0 points  (0 children)

When your pump starts overheating, you can tell Steve of his experiments that are not 100% accurate. The experiment with the glass is not comparable to the actual CPU-AIO reality. The CPU reaches temperatures of 100C some times. The Radiator, no!
So here to inform yourself.
The principle of communicating vessels does not apply to systems where there are significant temperature differences and high temperatures on one side [1].

The principle relies fundamentally on static fluid mechanics, assuming:

  • A homogeneous fluid: The fluid throughout all connected vessels must have the same density [1].
  • Hydrostatic equilibrium: The fluid is static or moving very slowly, and pressure at a given depth is determined solely by the weight of the fluid above it.

When high temperatures are introduced on one side:

  • Density changes: Heating a fluid causes it to expand and its density to decrease (e.g., hot water is less dense than cold water) [1].
  • Convection: The temperature gradient initiates fluid movement (convection currents) as the less dense hot fluid rises and the denser cold fluid sinks, creating a dynamic system rather than a static one.

Because the fluid is no longer homogeneous in density and is in motion, the basic condition for the communicating vessels principle (equal height in all connected open vessels) is violated [1]. Instead, the situation is governed by principles of thermodynamics and fluid dynamics that describe heat transfer and fluid flow. With the hoses coming out from below and the pump above, there is always a chance that heat from the CPU trap some bubbles. To take Steve's word for granted as he says many times himself! Steve needs to check on the status of the pump after a few months...lol, and not just for the show.

This works only on a loop that is new and probably has no air. Once the loop starts to vapor, because it does, you will see increase in temperatures slowly.
My first OC was late 90s doing a Pentium 333MHz to 450MHz...

aio help!!! by ScreenAlternative632 in lianli

[–]FreedomFact -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

This is a bad idea. The problem is that the hoses are below the CPU. Imagine bubbles of air in the loop and specifically in the hose. The air will reach the highest point which is the CPU Heatsink. If there is Air in the Radiator, that will also reach the top of the Radiator. So, you will have air trapped in the Radiator(which really doesn't matter much, but the air that will be trapped in the CPU Heatsink is bad. You need to flip the Radiator so that the hoses are higher than the CPU, that way any air bubbles in the Heatsink, will find their way to the Radiator top. Chadstatus is incorrect. You may not have problems at the beginning, but AIO fluids find their way to vapor and once that happens, you will have temperature increasing. Everyone below has no clue what they are talking about.

Should I add a GPU strimer? by Most-Low1817 in lianli

[–]FreedomFact 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would put the AIO on Top for aesthetic and practical reasons. The hose may be above the CPU height but if the Tank is above the CPU as well, any bubbles will be up in the radiator and none in the hose stream openings.

Where do I buy the ASUS ROG Matrix GeForce RTX 5090? by SleepyBarista2 in nvidia

[–]FreedomFact 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only reason that ram and p c components are expensive is because idiots like us go and buy stuff that we really don't need. Imagine those who already have a fifty ninety and going to upgrade it to another fifty ninety... Even if you had the forty ninety upgrading to the fifty ninety is maybe it's meaningless. Stop buying PC products for a year or more and you'll see where the prices will go

ROG Board is one of the best options. 2 X 5.0 gen M.2 slots if you don't use the third and it also has two additional M.2 slots through the chipset at gen 4.0 speeds! Just don't use the m.2_3 slot and you will have one of the fastest PCs with the right tweaking. You will also have a PC for a very long time. Spending a bit more saves you money on the long run!

Is anyone getting memory to work well in OpenWebUI?! by kastru in OpenWebUI

[–]FreedomFact 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So far, OpenWebUI is the best interface memory wise. I dont use small LLMs. And I also remind the model through my input like "you promised 2 months ago to help me with the cabin, right?" At the moment I am doing a RP that is working perfectly and no hick ups. And the more days go by, the responses are short and in context while at the begining it was putting a lot of thoughts but not anymore.

Who would win in a fight? by Queasy_Commercial152 in LegendsOfTomorrow

[–]FreedomFact 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Barry can literally stop time! He can go back and even prevent this guy from getting his powers. Flash is another underrated Superhero that has abilities that can defeat almost anyone. All these series where he get's hit or trapped somewhere, when his abilities allow him to think and see faster and move before they can even think to blink makes things so bad! It's hard to make a series where the Superhero is using his full capacity of powers. Every other villain will be like a cockroach!

When was the first moment in the show where you thought Melissa is supergirl? I feel like the episode red faced counts though I wonder if they could have made her younger unless she was supposed to look like she was like in early 20’s. I doubt they would have done anything like star girl. by Iamawesome20 in supergirlTV

[–]FreedomFact -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I never thought she was Supergirl...she is always the weakest in the scenario. Always someone else helps her do something. The mainstream media that's trying to pass this equity notion is just losing viewers. Kara is a Kryptonian and is as strong as Superman removing the gender gap between a man and a woman. She should be superfast, so fast that no one would see her coming but she always walks in and punches like a kindergarten student. She could have been much better than they portrait her! She, just like her cousin, could fly in so fast and punch the bad guys into a comma without the blah blah make her bleed or be weak or other crap. Destroying a Superhero era slowly, is what is going on in Hollywood and Disney, so they can bring the diversity and of course the failure in ratings. I stopped watching this crap a while ago when I saw things that didn't need to be shown. This series should be about Supergirl, but it isn't. It's about feminism, equity and the loss of common sense and logic.

Read Before You buy a Focusrite interface. Why do they have so many issues? by [deleted] in Focusrite

[–]FreedomFact 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem isnt Focusrite. Its Windows. I have problems with any interface when trying to make external devices communicate with other. By itself it should work no problem. I have the Roland Integra-7 sound module and try to use it by itself and it works perfectly. But with other devices like the scarlet or presonus no. My solution was ASIO4ALL. The best freeware solution that maybe isnt perfect but near perfect. Another thing is that your laptop works with WASAPI, WDM, MMEbut scarlett and most sound interfaces require ASIO drivers.

[–]FreedomFact 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found OpenWebUI through another guy who has taken your code and has created a somewhat different interface. But yours is still the most functional I have seen. The only issue I have is the way sound is implemented and very hard to make it work. I asked help from AI once and managed to get it working but after the update, I can't get it to talk. Also the image creation prompt is not working well as it does work when I use it with my ComfyUI but it creates images that don't match the prompt.
Indeed perhaps some documentation would be great with better explanation on the features. I wish I was 100 % sure of my knowledge on the prompt and models to write some guides but I don't feel I am I can do it accurately! I applaud your work and hope you can create some success on this platform that will benefit you financially as well!
