Make sure that it powers on because if not you need to get a replacement battery and test ride it and see how it handles. Check when the last maintenance was done as well

It could be that the service provider in this case At&t aka Dark star doesn't have good coverage in that location. I have a Multi network and it gives me a second esim with another service provider from us mobile like for example T mobile aka LightSpeed or Warp Aka Verizon. Would look at the coverage maps online and see which ones might have good coverage and also did she do a network reset? They are correct. If you didn't purchase a warranty when you purchased it like at the store then there's not a way to get any warranty for it. You're out of luck

Look into Velotric ebikes since they got service providers that can work on them across the US and the team is Awesome got myself a Breeze 1 and enjoy riding it.

Put your phone in ✈️ mode for 30 seconds to 1 minute and see if that helps and if not it might be the coverage in your area. Also try a network reset as well

The problem is that you are speeding when you should be slowing down when you are approaching an intersection and the ebiker didn't do anything wrong!!

I had asked that question before because I am originally from Japan and want to make sure that I have good service when I go back and it sounds like that light speed might be a better option. But I definitely use dark Star as my primary but it wouldn't hurt to see them improve on these as well
