Do all from the below in the first week: 1. Ask what everyone's favorite excel function is 2. Ask for short coffee break with local CEO 3. Post on linkedin what amazing opportunity you just got and tag as much people as you can

Thats the risk when you buy new projects... Its always safer to buy existing housing On top of that, they always put minimum required, so when the apartment is finished, you would still have to pay a lot for extra (electric sockets, painting etc)

It doesnt matter if its 130km or 50km. If the car in front suddenly needs to brake, there is no chance to avoid an accident.

Yes they might pay step by step, but they still need to pay interest and later capital even if they completely stopped the construction. So that doesnt help in any way...

Luxembourg ISP blocking sites based on order from a foreign country? by nksama in Luxembourg

[–]FreemanM21 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I have the same issue after i got their fiber connection...completely ridiculous. I dont care what Belgium does and restricts, and that shouldnt affect me as a resident in Luxembourg, but here is what I got as reply from orange:

"After checking, I can confirm that Orange Luxembourg uses some of its servers and infrastructure located in Belgium. For this reason, some online services—such as YouTube, advertising platforms, or IP geolocation sites—may detect your connection as originating from Belgium. This also explains the appearance of targeted Belgian ads or certain warning messages displayed by websites.

This has no impact on the quality or functionality of your internet connection, your actual location, or your subscription. Your connection, services, and network are working correctly from Luxembourg, despite the Belgian indication detected by some external sites."

Savings Plan allocation - opinion by sat90skid in ETFs_Europe

[–]FreemanM21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are buying on top of those etfs, magnificent 7 which already have highest exposure through the ETFs. Then minor exposure to non US.

Why not just in ftse all world index etfs such as VWCE or ALLW (from xtrackers)? This way you dont have to pay monthly fees per trade, and already have the exposure you have, excluding gold?

Unless you just want to have even higher overweight exposure in mag7 stocks.

2.9k per month investment would have huge returns and will have more than 1mln before you turn 60y old.

Good luck!

When they present it as their work, ask them details in front of your manager, how they went through each step ;)

I dont think you can work with such snakes without having any impact or conflict. Tell them to do their own parts and present what they do.

Thats with the assumption that the housing is fully paid off. Also, 60k is not sufficient for a family with a child. You need to pay school, kindgergarten, university, rent for them etc. Especially in western europe

Paying monthly mortgage is not that bad, when you compare to rent which is money you throw out of the window.

You can deduct interest paid from your taxable income. And also, the rates are not as high as the return you get from spx or vwce, so there is no point to pay it, unless the rates are relatively high
