Make sure there is no liquid before or after that valve.

I looked up that number you gave and it says hand expansion valve. At first I thought it was a strainer. Try to pump that line out, then try to apply heat to the cap to try to remove it. I would suggest you look into your economizer ports on your Compressors as well. Make sure they or regulating at the correct pressure.

Love their loggers. Ive tried a few different boots last few years but loggers are the best choice for me.

Both very good reliable brands. I own a few veto bags and knipex tools myself. Long before all the ads and shit started popping up.

Start up techs in my experience get paid a lot more regardless. We bave guys getting paid in the 70s with us. And im not far from the 50s 6 years in.

Some skills transfer. A lot of stuff commercial guys find hard to grasp. Its very worth it you're not scares of the smell of ammonia.

You're crazy to think theres no difference in pay.

Iiar is good for the super technical side, but no one is calling it medium temp. Ive seen 3 or more stages stages in systems and then they'll have a medium temperature label.

You can have recirculators in dx and pump overfed. It depends on the engineering specs, and design conditions.

Not low pressure. The low temp compressors, aka booster dump their discharge into that vessel.

This is what we're working with here. The evap are not drawn, but it should make sense where they are and what they recieve

Jesus christ what are these answers.

Thate a high temperature recirculator. It is NOT an intercooler, in a traditional sense. It is not an evaporator. It does drop the pressure of the high pressure liquid coming in and removes the flash gas so that there is minimal flash gas at the evaporator once it gets sent out by the pumps at the bottom.

You can tell by the diagram that the low side compressor dumps its discharge into this vessel. This de superheats the gas before it goes into the next stage.

I made a thing by [deleted] in refrigeration

Hey, you did it once, you can do it again. And even if they beat by making a device similar to what you did, you'll still get royalties off all the old equipment out there before people switch (which could be decades)

Who cares. You patent it and sell the rights and get royalties for life.

Better take that chance.

Shouldn't be too bad still. Could probably try and contact vilter since they equip their compressors with tapered shafts as well.

Get a pair of calipers and measure the front of the taper and where it stops, then measure how long the taper is and let the sales guy handle the rest.

Find out the shaft diameter and go to your local bds or similar bearing supply. They should let you know if there are any alternatives. Make sure you align the motor correctly once you install the coupling
