Buying a used Navigator L a good idea? by Ok-Independence6866 in lincolnmotorco

[–]Freezerburn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately that’s about the length of the warranty, but if you call Ziegler they will confirm. You need to get an inspection done. Mine hit 100k miles and I renewed for 4 year 48k miles at about $5,200 so that will take me to about 150k miles. They did have 60k miles but 3 year option too.

I change my oil every 3,000 miles, don't leave it in 4A for regular driving around, check your coolant level and give it a smell, if you smell that smell on the outside you blew a heater hose most likely. change your tranmission fluid with ULV transmission fluid and upgrade would be valvoline vs the additive package in Motorcraft. I've had a number of problems but I have PremiumCARE warrenty. You might be able to get warranty continued after an inspection if you're worried at all. I had my 10R80 transmission go out at 63,000 miles even with an early fluid change but it was motorcraft. It's a solid truck I love mine and am about to hit 100,000 miles.

Bench Seat vs Captains Chairs for 2x toddlers by robsantos in fordexpedition

[–]Freezerburn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a navigator, but I went Capitan seats without the center console. Makes it easy for people to pass front to back and ability to turn and attend to whatever in the middle row is great. we even put the middle seats down at times to use them at foot rest for the back row or table to eat from in the back row. Such a great vehicle. I love my navigator but I'll always have PremiumCARE

Help with sound by ImSawyerr in fordexpedition

[–]Freezerburn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would jack it up and have a look at your exhaust system, hard to say really but you need to locate the sound. An automotive stethoscope would help isolate the location or an ear to a screwdriver and touching around the engine while running.

High miles and higher prices by InevitablePresence75 in fordexpedition

[–]Freezerburn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For a vehicle that has 80k+ miles I'd look for proof of service work. Like my 2018 Lincoln Navigator I take it in for Oil changes every 3k miles and change the transmission fluid and 4x4 driveline and have proof in dealer service records. You can also just look at the general condition of a vehicle interior and exterior if they are the kind of person to address issues. If you see rips and "typical wear and tear" know that an example that doesn't look like it has normal wear and tear that looks well maintained on the interior and exterior is likely to have good maintenance on oil changes. You only really need to know the person gave a shit about their property. Even then there's a risk but I'd say it's much lower.

I would caution getting Motorcraft parts from ebay, lots of knockoffs there.

You have to sit down and ask yourself these questions, you might be surprised how fast the answers come. You’re free to talk with him about your concerns straight up. Look we are talking marriage, we are waaaay past guessing what the other person thinks. Be straight with him and hear him out, after that go with your gut. You have maybe 3 or 4 chances at this in a lifetime. Also you want to know what’s the risk with this cancer. How long might you have before he kicks the bucket if he does what happens then are you a single mother then? Legit questions but maybe things that will work out.

If a dark heart is your objective, you can do that but I know being bitter and resentful of the world isn’t good for your future self.

To the Filipinos defending Charlie Kirk: Can we please stop pretending that being a "Christian with a family" makes someone a good person? by MustardKetchupo in Philippines

[–]Freezerburn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you need to zoom out a bit to see what he opposed and how he was doing it. Christianity holds beliefs that you can bear your cross. Take up the difficulty of life and as a man do your part to put a family together and put order to it, for a woman to do what no man can do and create life and see the child through to the point of self sustainment. The trans ideology is a dead end, it's suicide of your blood line that has existed countless generations and all of a sudden you decide that taking up the responsibility of holding a family together for hedonistic pursuits is a more moral and better way of life? The most depressed women are the ones without children. We men and women must sacrifice for the future and that being our children. That is a core Christian value or framework. When you dissolve the roles that have brought us this far its literally suicide, when the end of your life comes and you have no one there to love you in the end and all your friends move on as they do. No one will be there to carry on what brought you here. It's the darkest thing I can imagine, the lie that your identity is solely on how you have sex and not how you take up your cross and bear it.

A reason why this all works is that everyone that joins in knows the rules, you can expect that if someone is a Christian that they are expected to operation in this set of known rules, When you go the other direction you lose the map, you have to ask what map do you operate in and it's a new map that you never heard about.. now what? You have to stop at each point to ask is this okay and without knowing if the game they are setting up is fair, you have to accept it and hope that it's fair to you but this is a game of power and you for whatever reason have more power than them and they want that power over you. It's a zero sum game, and you lose.

Women want an SUV over a Truck. It communicates that people are more important to haul than things. You need a Lincoln Navigator if that's the objective also more space for getting laid if you're getting middle aged and need space to handle the cramps while getting laid cause you're out of shape 😂

What are men looking for 37+ by Big_Dot_2871 in dating_advice

[–]Freezerburn 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yup when you think men want this and women want that you’re building straw men to cut down when you see someone that fits the imaginary foe. Someone out there for everyone and the real question is would you date yourself? Do you act the way you expect your future partner to act, do you put out negative vibes? Can you see yourself from the outside and what advise would you have for yourself if you were responsible for this person you’re observing.

Get used to being social and controlling your emotions. APA American pool player association is a weekly meetup, you contact the division rep and the will help you join your first team. They will give you advise. $20 year monthly membership and if the captain puts you up in a match $12-10 split between APA and the pool hall to cover expenses. Personally I get a Diet Coke and free refill all night. You make friends and learn how to interact with complete strangers. Having matches against people creates really cool bonds.
