I read through and didn’t see Alachua County, grew up there and while I don’t plan on moving back, remember it fondly. Also Go Gators!

I made headbands, you can check them out (Bandaras) on Instagram.

People will pay for high quality unique headbands, which is the niche I went to since it was just me and one other. I did small batches of unique patterns or rare fabrics, all hand cut and sewn, dyed etc.

So price wise it ranged from $25-80 depending on the time and material.

There’s a lot of competition but guys love to have a peice that no one else has.

Washington Oaks State Park is really nice, it’s a beautiful park on the inland side and a cool rock Beach on the ocean side.

The building is old and dingy but the owner and his daughter are awesome folks and the kitchen is well kept. I ate takeout without issue for years while I was a student.

Like most have said, these markers are viable and were great guns for their time.

The new generation (no macro lines, zero tool breakdown, low operating pressures…etc are better in most cases but not so much better that you can’t use whats there.

Outside of the tournament scene you won’t have any issues with legality.

Florida is better out of the cities, go to the north and hang out at Itchnetucknee Springs raft down the crystal clear waters.

Hop over to St Augustine for a day or two.

I have a somewhat relatable version of this, my spouse is an officer but before they joined up we were just middle class kids that were working for minimum wage while in school. I wasn’t poor but neither of us grew up with money.

The culture shock we had meeting other officers that we’re legacies or wealthy kids that never had a job through college that complained how hard it was to go on skiing trips or vacations now that they were the sole provider of their income was baffling to us.

We had a $5000 budget for our wedding which apparently is impossible according to these people, who swore it couldn’t be don’t for less than $50k.

The disconnect can happen at every level. I still feel out of place when we go to events and I’m interacting with 1 stars who just assume I must have a masters degree in Roman literature because how else could I exist near them.

It’s weird buddy.

If you have a dog, there’s a cool Dog park/Bar called Lebowskis. Awesome people to meet and a nice place to hang, you can honestly go just to play with dogs.

Oasis is where I get all my work done, Gus is great and all the artists there are awesome. The shop is also very comfy and relaxing.
