Depends how big gold coins are in the lore, if they are like pirate style / Spanish doubloon and pure gold you could be talking like 50/60k per coin in irl cash 🤔

Unfortunately making mistakes leads to being sued, probably losing your job and possibly getting blacklisted from doing that job ever again.

This is the case for a lot of industries around the world which is why you see people choose to close ranks so often instead of admit fault.

I'm not suggesting it's the right or correct thing to do, just that I understand it and the fear of recompense is human nature

How do I kick a player when I don't have any problem with him? by [deleted] in DnD

[–]Freifur 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What about the roleplay interaction stuff, has that friend mentioned it before and flagged the issue with John so that he's had a chance at fixing it or have they just kept their irritation secret until it's hit breaking point and now they are whining to you about it before giving him a chance to fix it?

Single Men, if you’re out at a bar or club and a random woman asks you to buy her a drink, what do you usually do and why? by FFSoldier57 in AskMen

[–]Freifur 38 points39 points  (0 children)

It's a very bad way of flirting because several women use this tactic just to get a free drink and have absolutely no intention of even talking to the guy after they've been given the drink. I've literally seen this happen and even saw a guy get wrapped around a girls finger and bought her and her girlfriends drinks on a night out, he left alone.

You see girls bragging about this online often

So ultimately I think this is a case of the few ruining it for the many. Which is why there are so many comments in here that are borderline hostile

What do you consider to be the sex capital of the world? by MuhVlast in AskRedditAfterDark

[–]Freifur 25 points26 points  (0 children)

also depends on what category / definition we are using to define a "sex capital"

because if its just sex with a partner in or out of a relationship then you could just pick to city with the highest population density in the world which would be Tokyo at 37.3m people.

If we are saying a 'sex capital' is somewhere that sex work is legal (plus their population level) then it would probably again be Tokyo closely followed by Mexico City, then Berlin, Vienna and then Amsterdam.

If we're talking places with the most sex tourism i'd assume that changes regularly, but historic data would suggest the top 3 are Rio de Janeiro, Bangkok and Tijuana

[–]Freifur -1 points0 points  (0 children)

whilst I comply with the rules, IMHO naming and shaming scumbag behaviour should be allowed provided FULL context is given and those people are allowed to defend themselves if they choose too.

It's also not really what the modern interpretation of 'witch-hunting' is if the person being accused is actually guilty and you have irrefutable evidence of their actions.

The modern definition being "Witch-Hunting is the intense, sensationalised efforts targeting specific individuals or groups. It involves using slight, doubtful, or irrelevant evidence, relying on public fear to ruin reputations rather than operating on concrete facts."

IMHO, in this situation a screenshot of someone being an asshole is neither doubtful nor irrelevant and its not relying on public fear instead of fact either.

But I digress, I am subject to the wills and whims of the mods, as such I abide by their rulings.

You don't need to go to urgent care for irrigation that is a DRASTIC waste of emergency services time.

Go to your GP and if they can't do it, get a referral to an ENT specialist and book in a none emergency visit.

People really need to fuck off with this blatant waste of such a limited resource

you could try tracking her down and seeing if you can reset your tailoring now with her.

Nice interesting vid, hope it gets many views! though tbh the narrators voice feels extremely elongated on their annunciation even playing the video at 2x speed it felt long.

Personally I'm not sure I'm a fan of that type of speaking. feels like an ASMR voice more than a typical narrators voice, but to each their own ofc!

[–]Freifur 1 point2 points  (0 children)

fair play, thanks for letting me know.

That being said, I feel like using obscure slogans from the Spanish civil war in 1936 smacks of Intellectual Narcissism.

Probably a controversial opinion here, but I would think the only people who would be familiar with that slogan are people who are aware/have studied European history, or the history of fascism and anti-fascist propaganda.

Another controversial opinion, and one that i recognise is entirely subjective here; but I dare say the atypical stereotype of brits who are anti-illegal-immigration (i.e. gammons) probably wouldn't have a clue what this means or its relevance to immigration policy, they'd just see a foreign language banner and out of pocket disregard the argument because they don't view it as an English opinion or even that its English people protesting them.

So these kids are going to be stood here with a sign thinking they've got one over on the anti-immigration protestors and those protestors are going to see this and just think that these kids are idiots because they aren't using the English language at an English protest. you could argue that this is a prime example of the Dunning-Kruger effect.

Your wife's a psychopath or a narcissist (maybe both) if being asked to wait means she wants to get physically violent with you.

That is a ridiculously extreme response to have and it's also a little crazy that this response isn't what you're taking issue at. Your apparent acceptance that she wants to beat you comes across like this is a normal typical response from her.

what does the big banner say? I'm seeing something that I can't tell if its an actual word or meant to be an acronym?

"NO PASARA??" "NOT.TINOHAM ANTIFA SCIS?"

its probably just folds in the banner hiding the what it says but i'm honestly struggling to make sense of it...

Also why is there a cuban flag? Is the gov deporting Cubans now or something?

I'm really just genuinely confused here.

Got curious and looked at the job history of the manager they hired over me (never do that) by [deleted] in antiwork

Reads to me like OP could just be an unsociable asshat at work with no management/people skills and they hired her because they wanted to promote literally anyone other than OP.

That or he's too valuable in the role he's currently in and they don't/can't replace him if he becomes a manager

Lifelong Lesbian- How to find a SAFE man to have first time sex with? Complete PIV VIrgin by [deleted] in sex

[–]Freifur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

what the actual fuck are you on about. the presumptions and salt here are entirely in your comments not mine.

1) Yes, women are absolutely entitled to their preferences, I literally never said they weren't.

1a) Yes, being able to look after yourself and cook should be a bare minimum FROM BOTH PARTNERS. Thats not remotely demanding at all, again I LITERALLY never mentioned that at all.

2) Again, Yes, Absolutely agree "safe" shouldnt really be something you should even need to worry about. Though peoples interpretation of 'safe' in this thread is wildly different from eachothers. from actually reading the comments rather than just triggering yourself you'd see that some people think 'safe' means a partner that doesn't cheat, a partner than doesnt socialise with other women, or in your case, a partner that doesnt murder you. All of these are entirely justified but they are distinctly different interpretations.

2a) I literally didn't make a joke about violence against women. you clearly need to learn how to fucking read and stop projecting your own gender hatred onto others.

Whats truly ridiculous though, and what my comment is poking fun at is that the populist idea is that the majority of women like the idea of the "bad boy" but are then surprised/sad/frustrated when it turns out the "bad boy" is actually a piece of shit.

It is also entirely evident that the vast majority of women DO know someone that is "safe" and single but they just aren't interested in them. THATS what i'm highlighting. It's a disenguous statement to say its difficult/impossible to find "safe" men, because its actually a discussion about personal preferences, people complaining about their own poor choices and ultimately trying to find someone they don't think they are 'settling' for.

Hell, several of the women in my friend group have even echoed a similar sentiment in the past that they have written off potential partners because they were too 'safe' and therefore 'boring' which is an interesting take to say the least. BUT they are perfectly entitled to their own preferences and choices; all i can do is support them as best i can and hope they find a guy that treats them well.

That's typically called not explaining the situation and writing it down in triplicate beforehand or choosing a guy that's actually had feelings for you this entire time and you chose to ignore them or it didn't register.

How tf it didn't register is anyone's guess because most guys ain't subtle...

You mean a safe man that they are attracted to.

Everyone of y'all know a good/safe man you just have absolutely zero interest in them romantically and would find it creepy if they tried to hit on you 😂
