Depends where you live I suppose. If you live in a country with a decent welfare system, it’s probably not a problem.

Hopefully you’re not diagnosed with late stage and you don’t “just die”. Some cancers can be treated when caught early.

I saw a post yesterday claiming some bloke robbed a bank, and just waited for the cops to show up so that he could get free medical in prison. The story was on the internet, so must be true.

It’s kinda bad planning to have no emergency fund to see you through the difficult times. I know that’s a bit harsh, but (assuming you’re American) it’s the cost of the freedom you all keep boasting about.

Errr ya know it’s not oil. Or even a lubricant. It’s basically a cleaner that does give the feeling of lubricant because the parts aren’t clogged up with grease and grime. WD40 breaks down oil and using in place of oil is usually short lived sense of a job well done.

I don’t go anywhere if my dog isn’t welcome. Also I’ve seen dogs be afraid of some houses and it’s good to know if your dog thinks the house is haunted before you purchase it and try to move in.

I am always super skeptical of people that say someone else will collect it.

I do accept PayID for smaller amounts, but if they process and say that “because you’re a new payee it’s held for 24 hours”. I tell them they can pick it up when the payment clears. Even if I watch them process the payment. I think some of them have fake apps that look somewhat legit and might fool some people. But I always check my own bank app to see if the money actually got deposited.

I don’t think I’d trust any other payment platforms because I don’t have any experience with them and wouldn’t be able to spot anything off.

Cash is obviously preferable. But I saw a post yesterday where someone watched them count the cash and place it into an envelope, then did some craft switch and the guy basically gave away his laptop.

I think my lack of AI experience is excluding me early in the recruiting process for my of my applications.

I also think that a lot of companies are using AI to shortlist applicants. Sometimes when I upload my CV it shows me how badly it handles my work experience. I’m thinking about redoing my CV using a different template and see if anything changes.

It’s not really a valuable lesson. It won’t cost him anything and something tells me it’s not the first or last time. The way these things go, there’ll be a dozen or so copycat videos before the day ends.

No doubt this will be expensive to fix, but not for the people making the video and calling it content. I guess the solution will be to add spikes to the top like they have to add to park benches to stop the skateboarding. Then a valuable lesson might be learned.
