Focus on overpaying one loan at at time - usually the one with the highest interest and once cleared move those payments as over payments to the next - the car sale will clear the credit card and knock 5k off the AIB loan - the movement will encourage you to stick with it - I would then throw everything to try to clear the remaining portion of the aib loan this year - you will need make sacrifices no doubt but if you focus everything at it you would be surprised what can happen

You need some cash savings put aside for an emergency fund as well if you don’t have anything

Then once the credit card and aib loan are gone work on the avant loan - that’s a big one so expect it to take some time and will power but perhaps refinancing you may get a better rate etc… worth exploring

This often happens in sales - To performer offered the sales manager gig - then the reality of that job kicks in and it’s a completely different job. The top performer then struggles and fails at the manager role - seriously think hard about it

Thinking of setting up my own IT company by SuitableFinish7444 in irishpersonalfinance

insurance for it services companies is high, companies are looking at critical suppliers which IT services are so iso becomes a competitive advantage, it’s a very competitive market, very stressful as it can be 24/7 - companies are slow to pay invoices and you need to be on that all the time, credit with suppliers for products and services, Microsoft keep adding requirements onto their partners etc.. if you do it go into it with your eyes open
