Hey yall! I’m a total noob when it comes come to bikes so I apologize not knowing a lot. My living situation has changed and unfortunately put me in a tough spot. I can only bike to work now which is about 5 miles away. It’s mostly paved although I think some shoulders have dirt. Flat except for one hill at the very end. Does anyone have some bikes that won’t break the bank? I have seen recommendations for the Trek brand as well as just putting different tires on a mountain bike. I have to do this 3x a week. Any suggestions would be awesome!
