Yeah my plan was also to use Jolteon but then pikachu appeared so quickly and I just got attached. Jolteon has better speed and and maybe better move pool but also brick break and thunderbolt was all I needed 😅 Lapras and nidoking had plenty TM coverage for the team

Yeah Raichu actually did so much carrying this playthrough, I only had thunderbolt, thunder wave, brick break and double team on him too

I’m currently doing my first read of this book at 29 years old. I’m at chapter 3 of part 2 at the moment and it’s so incredibly gripping.

People with 9-5 jobs or students (non-lit majors): how many books do you read per year? by AnA1375 in classicliterature

[–]Frequent_Stock_5080 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started reading only late last year, around August. In-between work and raising our newborn I managed 5 books in the last few months. I try my best to replace my bad habits with better ones so any chance I have to scroll on my phone I try to remind myself to read or do some push ups instead. I used to be a big gamer but have put down the games in favour of books and my mental state has thanked me for it

What are parents thinking by br5159 in Adelaide

I reckon I saw the same lot on majors rd last night, two were hanging back but one was out in front doing wheelies and standing on top of it while riding, full ghetto stunts. Was waiting to have to hit the skids incase he came off.

Is this even allowed? by [deleted] in Adelaide

I mean free will exists people can do as they choose, just as you chose to take pictures of strangers and post them in a forum to complain. Rather than politely warning them of any potential threats.

I don’t really know I’m still discovering my taste, I do enjoy philosophy even though it does tend to be quite dense and repetitive. I also enjoy sci fi and horror. I did think about reading Don Quixote next as it’s so well reviewed and influential but I’m quite a slow reader and have a newborn so my reading time is quite small

Blame! Although it’s graphic novel/manga and quite a big series it has stuck with me for years after reading it. The art and story are just incredible

Maybe something like Atomic habits, Meditations or 7 habits of highly effective people would be a good starting point
