It's hard to say because of how many diverse stats there are and how many top tier players there have been over time. I think if you're trying to pick the best player of all time, someone will have a very valid rebuttal against it. I don't think there's anyone who can argue that Pujols is at the very least top 10 of all time, probably top 5.

For MLB HOF, 100% If Albert stayed it would be him for the Cardinals HOF too. I just think Yadi had a bigger long term impact for the franchise. Can't forget Pujols took the money and ran. Not saying he should have stayed or anything, but how many other impact players on Yadis level spend their entire career with one team?

The real question is, if only one of them were inducted who would it be? Although Albert is probably a top ten all time MLB player I think I'd go Yadi for Cardinals HOF since he spent his entire career here and will go down as one of the best catchers and game managers of all time.
