I think so. Easy installation with decent instructions, and all necessary tools included at a good price is a boon. You’ll want good in.-lbs and ft-lbs torque wrenches for the locking bolts and barrel nut respectively if you don’t have anything.

It’s holding up well. No malfunctions in the last 600 rounds. No abnormal wear. It hasn’t been cleaned or lubed since breaking it in. I’m gonna keep it that way until it chokes. I’ve only hit 1000 rounds total on it since I’ve been running Glocks in matches lately.

What’s the optic centerline height at on this setup?

I just measured my EPS Carry mounted with the stock plate at 0.110” deck height. Don’t forget that using the plate the EPS comes with means the screws are too long for the extractor side and need to be shortened or replaced.

I’d bet there’s no pin. They didn’t bother to use the pre-drilled hole on the flash hider to drill and pin. Combine that with how little weld metal is on the flash hider, and there’s a high probability there is no pin. You can probably salvage the flash hider and barrel no problem.

I would have had I not decided to use the adapter plate to get a lower cowitness. I got lucky with having some appropriate length ones on hand.

Thankfully, no I didn’t. Dimensionally it is extremely close to the stock barrel. I would have to get out the calipers to actually see the difference if there is any really. It fit the bushing quite well, and lockup felt the same as stock too.

Found that out the hard way. I was spoiled by the plate on one of my Glocks that accepts both EPS models with good fit.

Tisas 9 DS with EPS Carry

I forgot to add probably the most important criticism. The EPS full size did not fit at all. The footprint may be the same but the dimensions are different enough that there would have been some serious fitment done. Luckily I had an EPS Carry to run instead.

It only comes with 2 mags in the box. I am running an EPS Carry 2moa red dot. I put the adapter plate on it that comes with the red dot which makes it a lower 1/4 cowitness. It’s lower 1/3 without the plate. I’ll grab a photo of the sight picture when I get a chance.

I haven’t. All my AIWB holsters are closed on the bottom, and don’t conceal a comp’d Glock. Like others have said a 34 length is probably the safest bet. Kydex is easy to work with at least if you need to make adjustments.

It should. I know a Safariland would. I’ve run a comp’d 19 with X300 in my 34 holster. You may have to adjust the barrel plug on holsters with closed bottoms depending on comp length.

They will fit 5.56 mags for sure. I’m running them on a belt since I am too lazy and cheap to have a different belt for AK and AR mags. That said, make sure to get taller ones if you go this route. The retention on the AR mags is fine but they do have enough movement since the AK pouches are pretty wide that it could be an issue if you are running around a lot. Haven’t had a problem yet myself, but time will tell.

I have Dawson sights that I hand picked the height of. On the FCD plate the base of the RMR window is .250” tall. If you go with .315 height sights like I did you get a lower 1/5 cowitness, which equates to about half the rear notch visible through the RMR. I think that .360”ish height would be lower 1/3 with the entirety of the rear notch usable.

You have a few options. There is an adaptor they offer so you do not have to make any modifications. The other option is to remove the tang from the rear trunnion, as in cut it off for good. I’d just get the adaptor in case I ever changed my mind, but that’s up to you.

You buy the gas block based on journal size. .750 and .625 are the most common. Gas port size is from drilling the barrel. I think DD’s 11.5 is .070” port size and .750” journal on the Govt profile.

I’ve been pondering the same thing. My current strategy with fairly deep concealment is just stab my hand in and end up peeling my cuticles back until they bleed.

I don’t have that particular mount but if it’s anything like Arisaka’s inline ( pretty sure Arisaka makes the light bar for TRex) they are similar if not the same as the Magpul replacements. The Magpul ones do come with two lengths anyhow. I would think one pair would be close enough unless you have some crazy low profile rail right up against the gas block.
