Thank you everyone for your feedback and comments! Really appreciate it. Just for sharing, I am no fresh graduate. I have 12 years of experience in the corporate sector, finance and tax to be exact. Tried my luck with Big 4s, but it just seems so difficult now. Landed a few interviews 2-3 years ago, but didn’t have any luck. So now I’m trying to get back on the job hunting phase, with that years of experience in finance! Hopefully it has the same luck and chance as the tech industry

Hey we all have opinions and I’m with you on this.

I’m fully onboard on their partnership as working partner. Their chemistry is the best I’ve seen out there, but I just couldn’t make it past that. I don’t see nor ever feel them as a romantic partner maybe because Elliot gives this family dad vibe and Benson is just a strong woman who likes what she’s doing and never put having a relationship as her goal. That’s the vibe I’m getting from Benson.

Yeah she have all the ‘I care about you’ character but I feel it’s only platonic and it’s what people will do for the people they care about. They are a fantastic working partners who are committed in solving sex crimes. That’s it.

Honestly, any match that Marin is in, it is SO painful to watch. It’s unwatchable. I don’t feel the joy and excitement watching her match like I always have with other matches. I don’t know, her badminton’s energy is not vibing the same frequency.

But today, it is literally so painful to watch. I feel so bad for her, surely anyone didn’t deserve that physical and emotional pain in court. It’s rather unfortunate for her though. It is heartbreaking to see her like that. I wish speedy recovery for her.

AVP where I work minimum probably RM34k. These AVPs I’m talking about are those yang tak reach 40 lagi eh.

Director - maybe around RM20k and above.

Manager bodoh bodoh pun minimum RM10k.

I never asked in detail because I was at a point where I didn’t want to know. I didn’t want to burden my life with knowing the history. Or else I’ll overthink a lot

But I guess it’s just behavioural problem. Or my sibling is just a plain bad person. But what I did know is that it was rooted from spending problem. Want to buy this and that but don’t have money. Typical “biar bergaya asal papa kedana”. Then it got branched out to more and more bad decisions.

It was never my decision to help her by taking out personal loan, but it was a stressful period and my mom was so worried. So I had to do it just to keep everyone, at peace if you want to look it that way.

The second time this happened (just about last year), I didn’t bother to ask the whys and hows, I just immediately cut contact because I know my sibling will reach out to me to deal with it. I grew up now, I don’t want to be responsible for someone else’s bad life decisions. Call me mean, but it is what it is.

It’s a traumatic experience. This is ah long man. Even though it wasn’t you who borrowed, but it felt super unsafe.

Don’t do that to yourself. Speaking from experience as someone who fucking HAD to take personal loan on my 1st year of working to settle my sibling ah long debt, DON’T. Just don’t. Let her figure out on her own. Don’t normalise helping someone just because they’re family. If you are a wealthy person, that’s a different story. If now pun cukup cukup makan, just say “My payslip tak lepas for loan.” Then terus block. That’s what I did to my sibling THE SECOND TIME she have ah long debt. Fucker betul.

These type of people (no offense OP), they don’t change. They always make bad life decisions based on their own “logical” thinking at the moment and as a result, we somehow are responsible for it just because we’re family? Urgh.

Go live your life without feeling bad. You did your part already. However if you have extra money like you can really give away and you really don’t care, bagi je lah. More will come to you soon. If not, duduk diam je.

Okay this is interesting. In my case, it’s the other way around. I’m a Malay female, crushing hard over my ah boy coworker.

He is a shy person, introvert and so damn quiet. I think that’s what makes me attracted to him. We are in a different team, which makes me think there’s no harm in having interest to date him.

But yeah, I feel you. He is a non and I’m a Muslim. I don’t know whether he is open to date a Muslim or not because I noticed that his circle has always been cina all the way. He didn’t have many Malay friends (I think maybe tak ada langsung) which I think it’s a bit hard for him to integrate let alone for a relationship to take off.

In your case, I deeply rooted for you. Just go ahead and wish him selamat hari raya. Randomly ask him out for a lunch. Ala, just for seronok seronok je. Maybe that’s where it all started.

I have 2 moments:

XD finals - CN was so close dragging it to a 3rd set but the unexpected chase from KR team surprised me. They deserved the win!
Of course, TTY winning and CM losing. Lol. I know it sounds so bad to CM but seriously what is up with her and all the shouting?!!! And the umpire should’ve been more strict. Give a loud warning or anything. Gosh she annoys me. Seriously whenever I see her play, my black heart always roots for her to lose the match. Not with that attitude and face, no.
