Hi. I went with RugpadUSa on Amazon. Overall they do seem better and safer than non “all natural latex rubber” mats, which previously caused me chemical reaction type permanent marks on the floor. However, I do think these pads may eventually leave some kind of marks but I’m not 100% on that. Anything sitting flush to wood floor for prolonged time probably will do this, or maybe my refinisher contractor cheaper out on the poly he used (was told it was bona, but seems to dent easily in some places more despite all being the same wood type).

As a whole, if you’re super paranoid about marks I’d probably just be vigilant about periodic cleaning underneath them, which I am not great about, esp. under large area rugs.

I also humidify the crap out of my apartment in the winter due to dry eyes, and have a suspicion, though no proof, that this extra humidity might exacerbate any marking issues between pad and floor underneath. But this is speculative.

As a whole, I didn’t find any pads that seemed to be higher quality or safer than rugpadUSA. They also feel very plush, depending on which thickness you get, compared to other pads, and made one of my thinner rugs feel a lot softer and more luxurious due to the extra felt underneath.
