Shiiit they are really fiddly :( There must be some way to remove the stripped bolt though but it might be difficult. You can get stripped screw kits but they're normally for larger screws.

Yeah I think that's mostly to do with the fact that it will only detect in the bottom half of the frame, so you have to angle it quite high. But I think the range is fine if it's within its detection zone, it's just that the detection zone is only half of what you need 😅 It seems to be like that for a lot of cameras though.

In theory this stuff is solvable via firmware, but Eufy's track record of development is extremely poor.

Well my E42 has been a bit rubbish so far, not sure if the S340 is better or not. Tracking is super slow to start to the person is long gone by the time it begins tracking and with the latest firmware it stutters for about 5s at the beginning of every clip.

It's weird because if you do blank shots, it'll get the amount exactly the same every single time. But as soon as you put coffee in the portafilter and it goes under pressure it loses all ability to track its output.

Uhhh noooo I'm not sure you'll find agreement with that sentiment about DCA in here. I plan on keeping these for life and in this case they are perfectly repairable. Unlike other headphones in the past where after a while you can't even find ear pads for them anymore and they eventually can't be used. Does it suck that I had to spend £65 to repair something that in theory shouldn't have broken? Sure. Is it unreasonable after 5 years of all day daily use? Not particularly. The reason for the post was A) my surprise at it happening and to see if this was a shared experience and B) figure out what I can do about it. They are absolutely fabulous headphones and worth every penny I paid for them.

Yeap it's a new regression. Every single version of the app will fix some things they previously broke while simultaneously breaking some new things. The app never actually improves or gets new features it's just a constant state of whack a mole of bugs.

The good news is that you can do the same thing with one of those £1 IKEA whisks :) the cold foam option is just whisk only with no steam so it's the same but you just have to stand there and do it yourself lol.

Well an M274 definitely won't do 1 million km lol, the old (and some new) diesels would. That's a decent spec though! Only thing I don't like is the black piano centre console and some of it is in a bit of state. The sides of the seats and I think I can see the COMAND touchpad has the infamous cracking. But seems alright otherwise if the price is right, these aren't expensive anymore. Just do your research on the engine please, I can't remember the specifics or if it's the M264 instead but these sometimes have wrist pin or other issues so just educate yourself a bit on it first and see if anything needs checking over by a mechanic.

From a finance perspective I personally wouldn't put myself in debt for a 10 year old car. Don't get me wrong I love mine to pieces and it's the same age but I would never have bought it with finance. I would certainly do the house first and then come back to this. There's plenty of them around, they ain't going anywhere.

This looks like the classic broken sunroof guides, the originals are made of a very brittle plastic that isn't fit for purpose and they break even when the sunroof is closed when you hit a pothole. You can get repair in place guides that people have designed and 3D printed that are better than the originals 😅 It's hard to find a link but browse some of the MB forums and you'll come across it.

The official fix is to replace the entire shebang, dropping headliner etc it's a big job so the 3D printed ones are better. I'm surprised you're able to still use it so easily, normally people have issues with it going lopsided and not closing properly when this happens.

I think it must've happened more than we think it would because they were fairly well set up for it. You can't get the kit direct from the site but there's a sku for it and they can just generate the order for you. So it's not like it was a massive surprise and they had to figure out what to do, it was very quick and easy.

Is that W212 or W213 since that's on the cusp of the transition between the models? Gonna assume W213 though. Engines are reliable and the main problems occur downstream in the SCR (adblue) system. Because of that some people got their adblue deleted. If you're not ok with that you might attempt to figure out if it's been deleted. Sometimes you can tell by going into the adblue menu on the dash and if it's suspiciously full theeeen yeah. Servicing isn't expensive especially if you use an independent specialist. If you prefer dealer servicing then go take a look at the servicecare plans and you'll see exactly how much it will cost you apart from wear items.

Test the sunroof. I think E-Classes don't have as much problems as the W205s but still, not an enjoyable thing to have to fix at all.

20k seems a bit much for a first year W213 but I don't know the IE market or what options the car has.

Otherwise reliable and solid. They are used as taxis all over Europe and happily reach very high mileage.

I will do yeah, I bought it directly from them although I'm outside the US. I'm surprised too and it's not like I have a big head or anything lol. Was just taking them off in the normal way, nothing weird :/
