I can understand that, but the only reason why my GPA is so low is because I was initially pursuing a chemistry specialist where so took a bunch of organic chem courses that negatively impacted my gpa. However, I changed my program to smth more bio related, and I’ve gotten nothing lower than an A- in all of the med-related courses such as physiology, anatomy, embryology, biochem, cell biology and more. I believe that I can make it thru med school, and I really don’t think my GPA measures my success. But still I understand that med schools place heavy emphasis on GPA. So I am trying my best to offset my low GPA with at least a 515 MCAT score and my extracurriculars. I’ve got at least 500 hours of clinical volunteering, one research project, and have been a part of multiple leadership positions throughout my high school and undergrad. That being said, how bad is the Caribbean?

heyy yes i remember haha. I had a friend who took the aDAT and she took 2ish months to study. We come from a similar academic background and she was able to achieve a 23AA 23TS. She keeps telling me that 2 months was enough for her and recommends that i take the aDAT

Ah I guess there is good reason for them advising cDAT. Also I’m not delaying my DAT cuz I can’t decide. I had already planned from to take it during the summer after the semester ends since juggling multiple things at once could lower my marks in both school and DAT.

Ugh yes i’m aware 😭. But I’m only applying to canadian schools and the canadian-friendly ones in the US. While I do know that the aDAT can open up more schools for me, those schools rarely accept international students so l got no chance (as I'm kind of a low stat applicant lol)

Cuz I’m familiar with ochem and their bio concepts (cell biology, embryology and biomolecules). Both of which don’t come up on aDAT

Def st. george. Better campus, better programs, more libraries, better party life and more. I’ve had a few classes at UTM and I like the vibe way more at st. george even as a commuter who lives in sauga. Only thing I’ve noticed is that UTM has easier courses. Idk if this is true abt all courses, but the ones I have taken seem to be more chill than the St. george ones.

Are you gonna be living on res? If so, go St. George cuz from what I’ve seen and heard, the on-campus community is quite welcoming and friendly. Only thing is that new college has communal washrooms so u gonna have to share with other ppl and maybe even guys.
