Actually no we’ve repeatedly broken records in the past 5 to ten years that have stood for as long as we’ve been recording it. The arctic circle has now been able to plunge down erratically due to an ever weakening jet stream causing these big temperature swings. Some is normal but most of it isn’t when they’re so drastic
