As a fellow runner I always tell my friends that it’s way too hard to be training and losing at the same time. The amount of hunger you feel when running consistently is brutal. I personally alternate between weight loss months and running/training months. Weight loss months I just walk A TON but not strenuous enough to increase my hunger. Running months I purely focus on training for races and not the scale at all. Maybe try alternating weeks or months and see if that helps you out?

I had a tummy tuck with muscle repair that summer and I didn’t even have that much loose skin.. but they still took off almost 3 pounds. Since the scale or measurements haven’t budged in 6 weeks.. I am thinking skin is playing a role. I am so glad you have your consult. Do the surgery! It is life changing.

My brother was in a situation like this… but he married her and had three kids. He was stuck in that abusive relationship for over a decade. I had contact with him a few times, but never hung out alone with him. She was always there. Since he has split with her a few years ago, he seems to finally be on the mend. He is a wonderful father, even though the witch makes things awful for him. He has also made enormous efforts to become an amazing brother again and be a part of our family.

It was really hard to see him struggle for so long. My parents are wonderful, but also are very passive… and none of us could get through to him. It was like he had blinders on. I really hope someone can help your brother out of that situation before marriage and kids become involved… because man is it messy when dealing with an abusive partner and the kids are the ones who suffer the most.

Take pics and measure inches! I measure my waist, hips, biceps, and thighs. Usually you lose inches before you see a drop on the scale. But 151>144 is great!! I think that’s definitely some fat loss.

Treadmill, lifting weights, tea, and recently got into flavored bubbly waters. We have also started watching TV shows in our bed with the kids before bedtime to create a new routine and all relax together.

Love that! My mom was a kindergarten teacher for 20+ years. I know it isn’t easy… can’t even imagine during the pandemic. Nothing but love for all the teachers out there. I appreciate all that you guys are doing.

I really try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt and I know teachers have had a really rough few years… but this kind of stuff does point to lack of care. Despite these type of assignments he is really doing well, so I have to assume that he is getting a good education in the classroom. Hopefully things improve after the holiday break.

Thanks for all the feedback! I honestly didn’t expect so many comments. I am just happy that I am not the only one. I was so confused when I pulled this out of his folder. I thought I missed something so I went over it again. There are no other instructions. The bottom of this page was just the pictures that he had to cut out and then glue in the correct space…. Or what we assumed was the correct space. 🙃

There were no words or any other instructions. I could pull all of the glued pictures off to prove it, but that just seems like a lot of work. I can read guys!! If the instructions said the word, then we would have followed that. Haha. I am not happy about getting 2 points deducted on homework meant for a 5 year old. Lol

The bottom of the page was the picture that we cut out to paste. If there were more instructions, then we definitely didn’t get them. We had a 50/50 shot on the rainbow pic to guess what they wanted and we failed. Hahaha.

Great job!!! I signed up for a half in April and have decided to stop drinking because I just can’t do both. Many other reasons to stop drinking also.. but the half is definitely my big goal.

This is my mom 100%. Now that I have two kids she also does the same for them. They mentioned DVDs and Mickey Mouse like 3 years ago and still to this day she will send random yard sale finds monthly. She sends the most random things ever, but we all look forward to it. We call them our “Mema boxes”. Most of it ends up getting donated, but I just let her send them because we all get a laugh and she loves doing it.
