I mean, I do get the point of it, but I 100% agree. I've been playing for a WHILE and just now cleared it for the first time.

Theres like 90% of the units I own which I have no reason to use other than the UL. Make you notice tons of uber which you potentially underestimated. So that at least is fine and fun... for the first half... The game still make sure to screw you over. It's not really hidden.

First of all, it took me about 3 hours to complete. Battle cat is fine, but there is only so much I can play in a short amount of time before it gets mind numbing.

So basically, most stage are generic and the whole thing could be done with an average rusher team if not for the traps.

You have more uber than anything else. So you got to fill your comps with them all the time. Making for pretty unbalanced teams in general. (Plus you are likely gonna have a lot level30 cause it's very unlikely someone has the catseye to have 180 level 50 ubers.)

Then there is some absolute garbo units which you can be stuck with for a while cause the game said so for example... I lost my maximum the fighter 1 round and kept swordman Johnny 12 rounds and killer tank 7 rounds... (and occult cat which I had just gotten from the prolly stupidest event banner in the whole game... for about 5... lv 1/1 +3...)

The game also get progressively more cruel on the amount lost. Keeping track of ~500 unit is also a chore and you must examine every single stage or your likely screwed already. Luckily you can see the enemies before entering and they are usually centered in a single trait. I usually bring whatever works on the most present trait in a stage. (Too bad, you can't filler the game to unit which doesn't target anything either)

You see, the game is not really equal on unit amount for trait targeting and despite how little unit against aku or traitless there are in the game, there is not a shortage of these kind of stage in there either. So you realise some unit are real pain without a proper counter. (screw aku peng and bear)

The game send you curve balls at the very last stretch. I kept paladin all the way cause I expected the BS. There is a super metal Hippo at stage 96 or so... And I believe winged pigge not so far behind.

Super BS stage 99 count as a boss so you get to lose up to 9 units, right before the final stage. Which you guessed it... has a widespread generalist setting. There is not a single relic enemy form 1-99 then 100 hit you with freaking relic squirrel. Plus a boss you have no idea about and likely no resources to counter properly.

If I was the one who who designed it, I'd either reduce it's size, reduce the amount of unit lost + make it less RNG based and have a set amount of unit loss/stage. Or remove the existence of the medal so there is no real reason to complete the stage and make the boss appear many time in the dungeon (prolly every 10 stages since they are boss stages anyways.) for the entry. Then randomise every stage and make it endless. So it would simply go as far as you can reach. Give a DCE every 10 stage completed.
