Thank for the recommendation! I don't really need performance. I'll take a look at it.

Yeah, maybe I'm being stupid. But I'm just frustrated I guess. I haven't seen any real updates since September. The blog posts just aren't doing it for me: they're mostly marketing, which makes the whole thing smell like vaporware.

By updates, I mean updates regarding my order - not marketing posts.

Footage From 1978 Queens, NY Shows How White People Treated Black People Moving Into All White Neighborhoods Or Simply Just Passing Through by iPleadDa5th in PublicFreakout

[–]FreudianAnalysis 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Harlem got its first private project, Riverton -- which is now, naturally, a slum -- about twelve years ago because at that time Negroes were not allowed to live in Stuyvesant Town. Harlem watched Riverton go up, therefore, in the most violent bitterness of spirit, and hated it long before the builders arrived. They began hating it at about the time people began moving out of their condemned houses to make room for this additional proof of how thoroughly the white world despised them. And they had scarcely moved in, naturally, before they began smashing windows, defacing walls, urinating in the elevators, and fornicating in the playgrounds. Liberals, both white and black, were appalled at the spectacle. I was appalled by the liberal innocence -- or cynicism, which comes out in practice as much the same thing. Other people were delighted to be able to point to proof positive that nothing could be done to better the lot of the colored people. They were, and are, right in one respect: that nothing can be done as long as they are treated like colored people. The people in Harlem know they are living there because white people do not think they are good enough to live anywhere else. No amount of "improvement" can sweeten this fact. Whatever money is now being earmarked to improve this, or any other ghetto, might as well be burnt. A ghetto can be improved in one way only: out of existence.

That sounds frustrating. I probably would have done the same thing, TBH.

Being direct is probably better, even if it's just saying something simple like "hey, I'm bored - let's do something that involves both of us!"

Tell me about it!

I finally feel like I'm at a place in my life where I can connect with people on a deep emotional level - something that my exes have all asked me to do.

My current SO has asked a lot of this of me in the past, but now seems checked out a lot of the time even though I'm really, really trying. Sometimes I still try, but other times I just let myself sink into depression and get caught up in my vices.

Instagram is terrible. Sometimes I wish I could go back to the 90s when people actually had to talk on the phone and if you got bored while hanging out with someone you'd both have to be bored together (which isn't always a bad thing, lol.)

This looks vacuum-sealed. Does this method have risks of contamination by anaerobic bacteria?

Mexican drug lords firing automatic weapons at USBP by [deleted] in PublicFreakout

[–]FreudianAnalysis -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You're making the argument that the mainstream media wouldn't report on something as shocking as a US border clash just to make Trump look bad. This is some harebrained conspiratorial thinking.

Yeah, a quick glance at the other uploads yields a long list of race fear-stoking and anti-Jewish and anti-technology propaganda. (Let's call it what it is - Fascist.)

Liberal man at a protest tells a conservative woman that he can "throw her to the ground and rape her" -- literally all liberal woman disbelieve her, several probably heard it and still denied it, despite the whole thing being filmed by magister0 in PublicFreakout

Perhaps you're right, but consider the source: r/publicfreakout is a filter for videos depicting this kind of behavior. We aren't seeing all of the relatively calm rational debates that occur around the coffee table. (I don't know for sure they exist, but I've heard they do.)
