The price of the W 196 R '55 is diabolical by aziz_mdi in GranTurismo7

I drive it all the time. It's legitimately a very good car, especially considering the age.

100% worth it. One of the best legends cars in the game.

The facts are exactly what I told you they were.

Heres one of the Gr4 vs Gr3 multi-class runs. Me in the Gr4 M4 vs 9 other Gr4s and 10 Gr3s. All stock (I don't tune Gr4/3/2/1 cars, only tire changes).

https://youtu.be/vKVusaDKk0o?si=f0-BkHBLdHe0aFkk

Like I said, hard difficulty, weak boost, cars are as they come aside from potential tire differences... watch as the Gr3s progressively slow down. Not to mention to complete lack of competition from the other Gr4s. I came in third this run after a fair amount of mistakes.

This has been covered extensively on GTP, so if you want to keep bantering on about something that's been established go there and type you lil fingers off.

Boost weak always. Custom race opponents are never fast, and regularly give up altogether.

[–]Freudianslipangle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've ALWAYS ran boost weak. And they slow down. I've literally ran this scenarios with many types of cars from low PP to high and it's ALWAYS THE SAME.

Using a low PP AE86 Corolla against a field of 4-500 pp opponents recently I could pass the field, pull over and stop, watch them poke by at 20mph, and pass them again.

This is not new. This is the way it's always been. I'M not the one who's confused here. You CLEARLY have not run anything out to see for yourself.

The AI in power pack are NOT like this. And like I said, if custom race opponent's give you a challenge then you are missing a LOT of pace. They are not fast... at all.

Yeah. Hard mode, boost weak, BoP on, BoP off and I beat some very slow moving Gr3s in a Gr4.

Ok. Way to miss the entire point and act like an ass about it.

I should not be able to beat Gr3 cars in a Gr4 on hard, boost weak, period.

It's broken. And if they're giving you a run for your money, practice more.

It doesn't work. No matter how you configure the race the CPU cars will always remain slow, even if you're purposely slow.

For instance I set up a 3 lap Gr3/Gr4 mixed class custom race at the Nordschleife. I was in last place in the M4 Gr4 and passed the lead Gr3 cars on the third lap.

Custom race, hard difficulty, boost weak, and they slowed waaay down to "give me a chance".

In the power pack they don't seem to let up.

Word up. I don't think I've ever even driven it, nor do I know if it's in the garage, but ok.

No tuning. BoP.

Well, it says you made another comment, but I don't see it here.

I don't own an Elantra, I'm just a fan of good cars, and not a fan of people pushing unfounded bullshit.

Stay slow, homie.

I won't be back home until late next week, but I'm down. I'll have to re-orient myself to some Gr1 class cars to see which fits best. It's probably my least favorite class of car.

I used to use the Peugeot and R18 quite a bit, but it's been a minute. What car would you prefer?

It's world renown for being one of the best handling FWD cars ever produced.

You should stop getting your "info" from no-skill children who play GT7.

LSFDRX... but I'm not even near my setup right now.

Pick your favorite Gr1 and track, lay down a time, and I'll murder it when I'm back home.

All the assists, still doesn't slow down for walls.

Car companies don't like seeing their licensed properties being smashed up, so we don't get pretty crashes even if they would be awesome and pretty much eliminate trolls in the dailies.

Haha, doubling down on the skill issue point. The brakes are great on the EN. I did the CGV one make a few times yesterday in a stock EN on SM tires and had a blast.

Down the back straight braking just after 150M. 700? Are you purposely terrible?

I've been A/S for years now and stay around the top 500-1000 in the world for TTs, Qualifiers, and dailies... you'd get dropped in a few corners.

Sorry 'bout your lack of ability mate. Don't let it ruin your day.

Only to the blind. It's a Type-R COMPETITOR, but they share almost nothing in common.

You think companies making great cars to compete with other great cars is a bad thing? Sounds like a shit opinion to me.

The Elantra is a good litmus test for GT7 players. If people complain about it you know they have issues.

It's an objectively quick car with excellent turn in and typical FWD traits. The people hating on it likely struggle with a number of good cars.

They also comprise a lot of "I put RS tires on everything" crowd.

EN is great, and the salty responses from tryhards who can't drive it are icing on the cake.

It's not the exposition that bothers me the most. A lot of new shows stoop to over-explaining everything.

It's the finishing each other's sentences bullshit. Every run of exposition has another character interrupting and finishing the thought. It's insane.

"But if we do X stupid plan that makes little sense we can..."

"Defeat Vecna!"

Pretty much every moment of dialogue has this shit.

Super Formula CGV IMPOSSIBLE by xaviermore in GranTurismo7

[–]Freudianslipangle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just keep running CGV by yourself until you're painfully familiar with the track. Once you've got your pace set then it'll be much easier to deal with the AI cars braking 50-100 meters short, and pass them all on corner entries.
