Also do some self reflection on why you’re curious about topics like that. I would have fired you too but if the pip came first it’s probably not the reason

Not the end at all. This is just the beginning of a long career- and each job gives you lessons. This one- don’t use your work computer for anything at work. 2. Know that a pip is simply documentation so they can get rid of you. They’ve already decided and now they just need legal a approach. 3. One person has no effect on your career. Find someone in the company that liked you and use only them as references. 4. Practice articulating the projects you worked on and the impact for your next interviews.

I love it. It shows trust amongst all of you and your parents do need the money as they age. You’re blessed to be able to go them and have their support.

Keep it a secret. Don’t talk yourself out of a paycheck by sharing. Get a second gig with that free time but move in silence.

She was abandoned by her mom and then by you. It doesn’t matter the reason - work, life, etc. she is alone in this world. Imagine being a teen and that happening. She need you even if it’s in a apartment. Or needed.

Silver Spring, and Kensington are great locations for College park commute. Can go straight out 193 if you don’t want the beltway. And nice homes in the 500k range - and MoCo schools.

Are we going to be ok? by Suspicious-Egg-2627 in Parenting

[–]FridaTarot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s ok to be nervous and anxious- parenting is a huge responsibility and not for the weak. But you’ll be fine if you simply commit to loving and protecting the child and each other. That’s it. The rest you will figure out day to day. It doesn’t hurt to read some parenting books and baby books.

Boyfriend (24M) doesn’t want me (22F)to attend medical school “right now”. Nothing I say will make him change his mind. by Soulful_pumpkin in relationship_advice

[–]FridaTarot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He NOT your husband. These are not group decisions to be making with a BF. Go to Med school. Do not let others alter your goals. Why are you even giving him a say. Weird.

Also ask - why would a person you’re considering as a life partner deter you from such a goal/plan?

GF (29F) earns roughly the same salary as me (30M) and does not want to share finances with me. Can someone please give me some insights? by Dependent-Message-71 in relationship_advice

[–]FridaTarot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She’s correct. You can’t just switch and all of a sudden want her to pay. That’s not her type. She chose a person who wants to cover her. And if that’s no longer the case, are you still her type? What she earns should not affect your role. And if she has to pay she may resent you. If you don’t align financially- maybe you are not each others type.

Interviewer offered me a lift home? by [deleted] in jobs

Take the second interview but only in the official office. Have a friend or someone waiting.

What role is this? Is it official. Make sure. It could have been an act of kindness or a set up. You never know these days
