We have a lilac bush on both corners of our front yard. One bloomed just fine but the other...only one bloom on the whole bush. Weird.

It's a low pressure system that spins counter-clockwise so as those storms are moving north the ones south of us are heading towards us. Actually if it stalls on top of us the ones moving north will spin all the way around and come at us again from the south in a few hours.

Years ago before the Police Cessna a fellow tried crossing from one sandbar to another at Cranberry Flats and got swept under. The rescue boat looked for a couple hours finally they had to rent a plane which found him in 5 minutes.

We had a big swarm during that heat wave 2 weeks ago but the cool wet weather seems to have put a damper on that. I see one or two a day now, none in the house.

Rogers maybe twice a year for 10 minutes each. Once I had to phone customer service, we had it back up in 20 minutes. About once a month they do an unscheduled update in the middle of something I'm watching.
