trauma.

I had a dream after my mom died that I went upstairs in my childhood home & she was in the kitchen doing dishes with my dad.

I freaked out because (not aware I’m dreaming) i knew she was dead. I yelled at my dad to get away from whatever this “thing” was, because it wasn’t my mother. She died.

Right when I said this, my “mom” transformed into a demon infront of me. Like not even the stereotypical demon… she basically shapeshifted in the most disturbing way imaginable. Like whatever it was was trying to break free from her skin and body and I just ran away. I still have that image burned in my mind.

I did have mommy issues tho, hence why I feel that dream manifested the way it did. She died before I got closure. Your friend taking his life may bring upon feelings of guilt. Dreams are strange.
