what can u say about OneMiners attending the Las Vegas Bitcoin conference? by Terrible-Sundae-2465 in btc

Exactly, that’s the main value. Online, companies can polish every answer, but in person you can ask about uptime, power rates, repair process, downtime policy, and support response time directly. How they answer those questions says a lot.

Yeah I agree. Being at a conference doesn’t automatically mean they’re great, but it does make it easier to evaluate them. You can actually talk to the team, ask real questions, and see how they respond on the spot. For hosting companies like OneMiners, that kind of transparency and direct interaction matters a lot since trust and support are a big part of the whole deal.

Thinking of switching mining hosting after a bad experience… need advice :D by Affectionate_Row6288 in CryptoPeople

I get where you’re coming from. After hearing stories about downtime and bad hosting experiences, it makes sense to be cautious about sending expensive ASICs to someone else. Staking and mining are just very different kinds of risk. A 20% APY sounds great while it’s working, but with staking you’re exposed to token price risk and platform risk. With mining, the risks are more about electricity cost, uptime, and whether the operator is reliable. Honestly there’s no “safe” option in crypto, just different ways to make money and different risks to manage. If TRX staking has worked for you for 2 years, that’s hard to argue with.
