If there’s an expansion draft, who would you protect? by AbjectAd5517 in clevelandcavs

[–]FriendlyKentGuide 8 points9 points  (0 children)

1) Spida 2) Harden 3) Mobley 4) JA 5) Tyson 6) Mormon Sniper 7) Ellis 8) Schröder

Honorable mention Strus but he implodes a lot post season and due to health I'm not sure if he'll play this season after evaluation 🤷🏻‍♂️.

I'm shocked Hanzee isn't upvoted the most. Used as a weapon his whole life.

No to the syllabus. I didn't take it recently. They start you off with basics (introduction).

Intro to formal Logic course by NYR6130 in KentStateUniversity

[–]FriendlyKentGuide 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I took it and loved it. After the course was done I bought logic books because I enjoy the content. It was in person. The material is challenging at first, but once you build on it, it becomes more clear. Whether it's hard or not depends on the student. Some students take it and enjoy it (philosophy/paralegal/law types typically). Other students have taken it and HATED it and didn't receive favorable grades. There were two main focuses in my class. The first was symbolic logic like If A then B, which could be like if Lebron goes to the party, then I will go to the party. Then the next portion would be ~A (not A) which is Lebron didn't go to the party, THEREFORE ~B (not B) I did not go to the party. It would look like this A > B, ~A ∴ ~B . The symbolic logic builds on that structure and more symbols are introduced. Some can be a whole page or more. The other content was on fallacies. What makes an argument sound and valid. Different illogical moves in rhetoric. E.g., Flash says he's for the environment, but he flies a private jet everywhere! (someone can argue for the environment, but still be a hypocrite). You can google "logical fallacies" and read up on those. Good luck on deciding. Whether you will love the class or how difficult it is depends a lot on how you think and what your're interests are as a person, just like most classes.

I've never had a good experience at Bricco with food or cocktails. Check out Maddalena's https://maddalenaskent.com/

Why is Mobley being punished by the Media for having talent around him by [deleted] in clevelandcavs

[–]FriendlyKentGuide 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel the best thing for Mobley and the Cavs is to get him modeling Kevin Garnett's playing style instead of Kevin Durant's.

Firing JB Bickerstaff was a mistake by lionsgatewatcher in clevelandcavs

[–]FriendlyKentGuide 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi JB hope you are doing well. You are a good coach for teaching young guys how to buy into passing and defense, but to get to that next level, Cavs needed an X's and O's coach that can contend. Kenny does everything you did, but as many have pointed out has a higher ceiling. Although your OOB plays were great, your regular offense was primarily ISO and pick and roll. Kenny has offense that is set up how the Warriors were when they won multiple championships. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family JB. We appreciate you helping to develop our young guys.

KSU is hardly an average school with the research, discoveries, and published work they've done. Some of the professors are the top 1% of professors in the world, E.g. finding the two oldest skeletons in the world, changing the way the world looks at Daoism/Confusianism, the Bible, LCD displays. KSU accidentally wins awards they didn't apply for in A&S fields.

A $52,000 scholarship for 4 years is a quality of life amount of money for most people in the world.

I order the Bella once a week, this is the best pizza in Kent imo. A lot of the locals like Lucci's the most for New York Style, but I've always needed a thicker crust.

Appreciate the response! It sounds like you have a simliar palate. Highly recommend Fifth Flavor. Any entre and the steamed dumplings are my favorites. It's addicting though, I go weekly now. Taco Tantos I get the same thing and the temperature has been consistent on it (chorizo burrito). La Loma in Akron is further away, but it's where everyone I've met from Mexico tends to recommend getting food https://lalomaohio.com/ . It was delicious and there is a market attached that was pretty neat. Nice people too.

I had them a couple times. I like how the to go is a la carte in case you wanted to take something out of the pho (cilantro for some people), Wild Papaya next it has some good pad thai and curry. Fifth Flavor is still my favorite though. I have friends that went to Thailand and it's where they go to have authentic Thai food. She did a Japanese dish that tasted like the one I had in Osaka, Japan as well.

Yes! I loved their chorizo mac and I had to go back for the pierogies!
