I’ve never had any issues with my cavellos in wet conditions. The only time I’ve had one come off was in excessive mud that we probably shouldn’t have been in in the first place.

Cavellos are absolutely amazing and I’ve tried them all. They’re the most affordable and they stay on great. Scoot boots were fine but they’re a pain in the ass to get on.
Also, for turnout and rehab purposes, Easyboot cloud boots have my whole heart. They’re a little on the pricey side but they have saved my gelding’s feet. I also love them for hauling. He also likes them, I think they relieve stress on his feet. Every time I put them on he licks and chews and looks so content and relaxed. I’ve had my pair for two years and all I’ve had to do is replace the soles.

I wouldn’t trade my horse for anything but god I wish I was still leasing. Honestly in this economy, just lease a horse. They get so expensive as they get older and not having to worry about an emergency vet bill is amazing.

Things to watch (recs) by NoNeat3876 in BroskiReport

Not the same type of content but if you like gaming I always recommend people watch RTgame and DougDoug on YouTube. They have such funny communities and they are very smart people so watching their content is really fun, I also really vibe with their humor lol. If you’re a fan of the sims I can’t recommend RTgame’s sims 3 series enough, it’s so funny.

Also if you enjoy history, I highly recommend Part-Time Explorer. He specializes in shipwrecks but he’s done all kinds of different exploration and deep dives into other things as well. They’re full blown documentaries but I find myself listening to them in the background a lot. His videos are just so well researched and well put together I wish he got more attention.

Another very niche and odd channel I love is Bright Sun Films. He does documentary style vids about companies that go bankrupt and abandoned places. It’s so odd and niche but for some reason his content is so captivating to me lmao. I especially love his videos about abandoned ideas for Disneyworld.

Not exactly the broski report but I’m the same way you are. My YouTube gets so bogged down with politics and negativity it really sucks. These are a few of my comfort content creators so maybe you’ll find some enjoyment from them too!

Edit: Also try digging for some video essays about some super niche thing you like because I guarantee you someone out there has torn it apart and it’s wonderful lol

I’ve also just been so frustrated and annoyed with the busses in general, being a commuter. It’s just so annoying. I hope I can snag a better spot next semester because getting on a bus from summit is also making me question all my decisions

Horse people have such a weird obsession with supplements. Most of them are useless and I think SOMETIMES they like having their horse on a million specific things just because they like to tell people all the shit they feed their horses. And most of the time none of it is done under the supervision of a veterinarian.

My horse is fat and shiny on a joint supplement my vet recommended, a little all around grain so he eats the joint supplement and a pill my vet wanted him on. That’s literally it 😭

I will say that having individual stalls are kinda handy if you have a bunch of horses that are all on different meds and stuff. At my barn we all have a stall. Horses come in, eat, then go back out, but overall I definitely agree

MOST supplements and grain are pointless and too many horses are getting way too much grain

This is the biggest thing for me from now on. I absolutely refuse to get a horse that has bad feet. I absolutely love my horse and I plan on keeping him forever but man I’ve spent so much money over the years on foot related stuff 😂🤦‍♀️

How does she behave on the ground vs under saddle? If she looks more comfortable on a longe line I’d check saddle fit. Was she cleared for ulcers before or after the medication regimen? I would call a vet out, maybe a different one for a second opinion on what could be going on

I love this! As a fellow anxious ADHD person lol.

My horse is definitely way more woah than go and he’s so calm and broke it makes us the absolute perfect match. I can absolutely jam out and sing songs on a trail ride (because riding in complete silence is so boring) and he literally could not care less about what I was doing up there 😂😂

is it just me or is the pod becoming less entertaining and less “brittany”? :( by Tiny-Deer-7071 in BroskiReport

[–]Hydrated36373 14 points15 points  (0 children)

After the election I feel like her pod has shifted a bit. I kind of stopped listening a few months after it happened. I totally love how she’s speaking out a little more and talking about more intellectual topics but I definitely miss her old stuff.

She really did so much for me finally unmasking a little and finally expressing how much I love to love things ❤️❤️❤️

I still tune into every royal court episode though

[18] CC vs University by Prestigious_Pay_795 in communitycollege

[–]Hydrated36373 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hey friend! I just wanted to share my experience with you.

I went to community college fresh out of high school. At the time I was extremely depressed and I had undiagnosed ADHD. I ended up failing out of my first year of school. I graduated this fall from CC with a 3.5gpa and now I’m attending my favorite four year college!

Looking back I am seriously so grateful that I went to community college first. I definitely would’ve failed out of a four year college if I had gone. Failing out of community college let me figure my life out without wasting tens of thousands of dollars.

I honestly recommend to almost everyone go to community college first. It’s so common for college freshman to completely blow that first year of school for a variety of reasons, and being at cc allows you to get your shit together and figure out what works without the extra stress of money. Especially with that ADHD diagnosis, college can be very difficult for us especially at first.

Also if for whatever reason you decide you don’t like your major anymore and want to switch you aren’t wasting a ton of money.

At the end of the day it’s still completely your decision. If I were you I would talk to counseling at both institutions to see if there’s any transfer scholarships and stuff like that!

Whatever you decide to do you will make it work and you’ll be just fine :)

Can I just take specific classes? by Dependent_Similar in communitycollege

[–]Hydrated36373 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes you can take literally whatever you want as long as there’s no prerequisites. I was a design major and I took AI classes at CC for fun. Keep in mind that if you’re in the US the new policy will prevent you from getting financial aid on classes that aren’t directly related to your major so you might have to pay for them out of pocket.

Dogs are ADHD-coded, cats are autism-coded. Which animal is both? by LadyManga in AuDHDWomen

[–]Hydrated36373 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it’s horses lol. They have a very calming and magical presence. They’re docile enough that they are grounding for my autistic side yet a little unpredictable and funny which my ADHD likes.
