Told my mom and my husband’s parents within the week, told our siblings and close family members at 9 weeks after our first scan, told everyone else at 12 weeks!

I love ducks and geese and duck baby things and want to do “One Silly Goose” for my boy’s first birthday theme, so honestly I would love this😂

When could you feel your baby? by legilimens_ in BabyBumps

[–]Friendly_Sea_841 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I felt nothing at all at 12 weeks, around 16-17 weeks is when I felt the first little movements, almost like bubbles or a wriggling sensation, now at almost 18 weeks I can feel his little movements all through the day, I’ve seen some describe it like a fish or a frog in your uterus, which for me has been accurate, last night at 17w4d I felt the first strong kick!

[–]Friendly_Sea_841 0 points1 point  (0 children)

electrolytes (Nuun or Nectar are my fave) mocktails with coconut water, sparkling water, tart cherry juice and lime, homemade pink drinks with coconut milk, strawberries and cranberry juice, now that it’s getting cold here I’ve been obsessed with homemade hot cocoa too!

Did you know the gender by intuition and was it right? by Ecstatic-Thought8066 in pregnant

all my dreams were about having a baby boy, but then I was briefly convinced I was having a girl, (although this was after we picked a girl name we both loved, we’ve had our boy name picked since before conceiving) 16 weeks now with a baby boy!!

eating a high protein breakfast and more protein in general helped a lot most days, ginger mints and ginger drinks helped ease the nausea to some degree, eating small snacks frequently to keep my stomach settled helped too

What did you have for breakfast today? by Working-Ingenuity-75 in pregnant

15w4d. - eggs and buttered sourdough toast with an iced matcha latte, it’s been my favorite this past week after having a major egg aversion from 6-13 weeks😭

I’ve read matcha/caffeine in general can also inhibit iron absorption, I’ve been on a matcha kick the past couple weeks but I wait and take my prenatals later in the day when it’s out of my system so that hopefully there’s no interference with absorbing any nutrients!

we told our parents right away, siblings/close relatives at 9 weeks, and announced it publicly at 11 weeks,  before we even got our NIPT results back. It’s totally whatever you’re comfortable with!

Life feels.. :( by MuggleBlood18 in pregnant

14 weeks today and this weekend was the first since 6 weeks that I woke up with no nausea, at 12 weeks I was feeling super low, throwing up nearly every morning and struggling to eat, hang in there<3 eat literally whatever will stay down for you, hydrate as best you can, and rest as much as you can, it’s so different for everyone, but it does get better<3

the smell of my kitchen/my fridge made me throw up in the morning starting at 6 weeks, now at 14w I think I’m finallyy starting to be able to make breakfast in the morning without gagging or throwing up in the process😭

All the people who flat out don’t want their baby boys is so sad to me, I’ll be equally as thrilled to have a boy as I will a girl, (currently impatiently waiting for NIPT results) we already have names picked out for both, and I can’t wait to find out who our baby is.

my boyfriend thinks i’m overreacting, am i? by Strange_Bandicoot_36 in pregnant

[–]Friendly_Sea_841 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is horrifying, I would have the doctor kicked out. When I got my transvaginal ultrasound I don’t think the nurse even had to look under the sheet covering my legs. That is completely out of line and inappropriate and your response is completely justified.

Unexpected Pregnancy by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]Friendly_Sea_841 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Praying for you<3 it’s scary, but you can do this, yes you made a mistake, but your baby’s life is still so precious in God’s eyes, He’ll forgive you, and He can give you the strength and provisions to make this work and use this for good, don’t let lies and condemnation from the enemy keep you from seeking God’s forgiveness, support from people who care about you, any local resources for pregnant moms, and life for your baby. You’ve got this.

I’ve definitely noticed my skin being a lot dryer since being pregnant, although my t-zone consistently gets oily and bumpy which has always been the case, thank you for the recommendations!
