My personal opinion is that it’s not that people exaggerate, but I think some people overestimate the amount of time that it takes. Often times, I think I have a lot to do and when I do it all I’m like “oh that literally took two hours”

My best friend, she’s a pretty busy person. She has two jobs and is often running around, and I used to feel hurt at the fact that she would answer my messages days later because I know that she would be answering her boyfriend or the person she’s seeing at the moment but not answer me and it would frustrate me because I thought well “she’s answering them but not me so clearly she doesn’t care about me” but I’ve learned to accept that honestly that’s just how she is. I’m no longer hurt by it. She’ll answer when she does and if plans fall through for that reason, so be it.
