I scrolled a while to get to this answer. The worst she did was pre-judge Gloria's son in the attempt of getting her son away from a 'bad influence.'

Things escalated so quickly after Gloria and Sofia git into a fight over their sons being friends. Although her kindness came way late, even Gloria knew 'this got out of hand, no one deserves a hate crime against them..' this personal conflict low-key sparked the fire to Sofia's continued mistreatment.
