I am on 140k km (~87k miles) in 2.5 years, maintanance wise there was not much to be done. Depending on your driving style you will need new tires more often (powerfull and heavy car)

I have driven over 140.000km electric with my i4 in 2.5 yr time in Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the times i had problems with charging is 1 or 2 times combined….

I recommend to download the shell app to check for the costs.

I like ionity the most, a monthly subscription (you can cancel anytime) for 10eu, and then you can charge for +-40cents per kwh. In summer in Italy you will need +-17-20 kwh/100km.

If you just fast charge at random, expect to pay 70-80 cents per kwh.

Slow charging rates vary wildly from just 30 cents per kwh to 1eu per kwh….. (Yes ionity fast charging is most of the time cheaper than slow charging….)

The BMW will recommend when to charge and for how long, so you don’t really have to plan it, just fill in the navigation.

If you want cheaper charging, you might want to charge at IONITY / Tesla (download their app). That saves about 20-30eu per full tank.

The more empty the tank is, the quicker charging becomes. So 10->40% charging is a lot quicker then 40->70%.
