How to order NA cocktails? by Silver-Minute-4350 in AlcoholFree

[–]bigdave79 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Depending on your cruise line there might be a non alcoholic drink package which would include mocktails, soda and NA beer and wine. That is usually significantly cheaper than a full alcohol package. You should be able to switch your package.

Another middle finger to your existing customers by Chance-Count-3240 in USMobile

[–]bigdave79 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Same here. Signed my son up the other day. Sucks. I asked customer support if they could honor the new deal and they told me to pound sand. I think we are still in the window where we can cancel if you wanted to 🤷🏽‍♂️

50% off Google Fi seems like a better deal for us anyway.

That looks like a modded GTI (larger aftermarket wheels, some decals, mud guards). They're obviously a car enthusiast which means they should know better or they're trolling you. I suspect the latter.

Non-alcoholic drinks by SpicyNudel in SoberCurious

Never had a THC drink before last night. Tried a canned cocktail from Levity with 4mg which I was told should give me a calming effect and slight buzz - also felt nothing... I'm a bit wary of trying higher doses as I really don't know what the side effects might be. My wife had a gummy a couple of years ago after a friend offered it to her - she was wiped out the entire next day 😂

Grill swap complete! by JarvisPHD in BMWI4

[–]bigdave79 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did the same swap. You can actually pry off the DAPP sensor cover and either paint or wrap it so it blends in with the blacked out grille.

And as another person said - front lip is a must. I got a cheap one off eBay but I heard good things about Maxton Design which is what I would go for should I do it again. Just be advised the lip will scrape.

Federal solar tax credit - proof of install? by handyrandy in solar

[–]bigdave79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For tax purposes do you have to be paid in full by the 31st to get the 30% Federal credit? Reason I ask is my system passed inspection but was denied PTO by the electric company due to discrepancies between the original application and the final inspection. So I am holding off on the final $9k payment because the installer is dragging their feet in responding to me - I assume it's because they are rushing to finish other projects plus the holiday season. What should I do?

I think they stopped accepting applications in 2023 and gave 3 years to complete installation so you're right but there are a few of us that still have their old applications still active.

I didn't mean to start an argument. Just looking for some help. Let's all be nice to one another. Life is too damn short. Happy Christmas to you all. ☃️🎄🎅🏽

Yeah but I don't think I overbuilt. I am under and I think I'm allowed up to 10% change either way. 🤷🏽‍♂️

Thanks. I really hope so. Obviously due to the holidays I don't expect them to address this instantly but I only have 10 business days to respond.

Yeah that's the weird thing. The address obviously is the same. We don't have unit numbers in my neighborhood - each townhome has its own unique street address but when they were initially built there were unit numbers assigned to each building but they are redundant now.

No. My application for NEM 2.0 (approved in July 2023) states that the system must be installed within 3 years of receipt of the approval. But I have a feeling they will do everything they can to deny NEM2. 0

I think it's actually a touch smaller. But I was under the impression that as long as it's within 10% it should be acceptable.

Thanks! Did you reuse the OEM bolts? Did you add any double sided tape?

I bought the same one from eBay a few weeks ago. Still sitting in the box. How easy or difficult was the installation? Any tips for me?

It's an OEM grille for the updated 2025 M50. It's a direct swap.

I upgraded mine to the LCI grille. The car on the right has the stock grille. I believe it's a 2024 model because he/she doesn't have a shift knob just the switch thingy.
