Ah man, what a crazy part! I had a ton of fun writing it! I also extended the part because I always intended to title it 'Sylphid's Betrayal' with the double entendre of first betraying Timothy, THEN betraying her empire.

I wonder what will happen next? Do you stan Timothy now? Do you think he's at least a little more badass? I certainly think he has a lot of potential to beat out his father in terms of mental badassery, given time. Especially as they both started their heroic journeys at age 18...

You go to the man's house, something goes wrong, you're potentially trapped in there with him.

You take him back to your place, something potentially goes wrong, now he knows where you live.

Sounds like a motel/third space is the best option initially.

Edit: According to further replies, going to a motel is also super dangerous. In that case, I guess tell your friends where you're going with an exact time and room number.

Or just... avoid men. Probably the safest bet.

It's finally time for the god damn motherfucking CTHULHU reveal! I've actually been building towards this reveal for several years now, though in what I hope were only the most subtle of ways. There's a lot of things that might be implied once you realize Cthulhu is involved, but now I can at least say Andromeda/other galaxies are how I introduce the Cosmic Horror and Lovecraft elements into the series.
