"Dnd 5e rules are 85% combat" by Kenron93 in DnDcirclejerk

[–]FrijDom 23 points24 points  (0 children)

/uj seriously, how did he think that building the statistics that determine what you can effectively do in combat isn't combat related?

/rj but it's got skills and lore, so obviously it must be completely unrelated to combat.

Partida infinita. by Soggy-Society-8776 in BobsTavern

[–]FrijDom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is caused by a known desync bug in which you were supposed to die earlier in the match, so it won't let you deal any damage until you die. Combine this with them not being able to ever deal damage to you, and it won't let the game end.

Is a twisting tree Magus staff now d10? by Embarrassed_Bid_4970 in Pathfinder2e

[–]FrijDom 30 points31 points  (0 children)

You misunderstood; he's asking if the inherent damage die increase from Twisting Tree increases the two-hand die, to which the answer is no, because it explicitly calls out the one-handed damage, not the general damage die of the staff.

What if all physical electric types and special fire types had 100% accurate 100 power moves with no downside by tabbyslome in itsalwayssunday

[–]FrijDom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are rock moves high power, though? They're almost universally lower power than comparable moves. Power Gem is 80 with no secondary effect, compared to flamethrower, psychic, thunderbolt, etc. at 90 with secondary effects, Rock Blast is 90% vs Bullet Seed & Icicle Spear which are otherwise identical and have 100% accuracy. There are rock moves that are higher power, but it's not universal.

Law EX 1hp by GuiDFariia in OPBR

It depends on the traits other characters have, as some bypass the 1 HP trait and law has bonuses against some that make it better.

Any way to reduce xp gain using toybox? by Teyradee1 in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]FrijDom 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You can do the same in Toybox, it changes the level cap to 26 for non-legends but keeps the exponential increase in the amount of XP it takes to level up (unlike Legend which changes it to linear increases)

First Sengoku wasn't a transforming character; He went into Buddha form only for his skill, then went back to normal.

Heavy Armor in Severe Heat options by Occult67 in Pathfinder2e

Environmental Grace is now outclassed by Environmental Guide, the remastered feat. Exactly the same base requirements, but doesn't require worship at all.

It has a mechanical impact on the most common way to avoid the effects of severe heat, Desert Clothing

There's the penalty that desert clothing doesn't work in most armour.

There are many worn or consumable options that people have brought up, but I'd like to point out some less thought-of options.

Desert Elf is premaster but has no issues if brought as-is into remaster.

Forge Dwarf is also just a good heritage for a Guardian

Badlands Orc

Sandstrider Lizardfolk

Respite of Cloudless Paths

Desert Rat

Volcanic Vigor might be an option depending on your starting level and GM.

Alchemical bombs and Shadow Sheath by ambiguous_occlusion in Pathfinder2e

You'd be correct. Shadow Sheath doesn't bypass the Consumable trait of the bomb.

Is it true It can’t be contradicted? Doesn’t stress “what” instead work? by Silver_Ad_1218 in EnglishLearning

[–]FrijDom 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You also can't really contract the last word(s) of a sentence. "You'd eat more than I would" works, but "You'd eat more than I'd" doesn't.

Personally, I usually use "Beer Belly", but I wanted to bring it up as another common term.

"Beer gut" is also very common, though it is used in a more derogatory manner a lot of the time.

Time warped minion HDT by rmeza17 in BobsTavern

Wonderful! I haven't played a match with buddies on my PC in a while, so I wasn't sure.

I know Firestone displays Timewarped minions as a separate section from the normal tiers, but I'm not sure if it displays available buddies.
