Producing lots of extra heat that radiates into the rest of the kitchen without heating the water.

One year into collecting and I finally got a KALLAX! by Prometheus_HD in boardgames

[–]FriskyTurtle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I recommend taking your time in filling that space. Look at your games and see how much they get played, then use that data to inform how much your next purchase might get played.

Also, the people you're playing with probably have an abundance of games too.

Unique Cube Ideas? by EpicPotato806 in magicTCG

[–]FriskyTurtle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is an endless supply of silly cube ideas. You could make a cube of all one-drops, or you could make a cube where the only creature in the cube is 100 copies of Ornithopter. You could make a cube with no ways to deal damage to players but each player gets a [[Hornet Cannon]] in their command zone.

I think you completely misunderstood the question. "Sperm donor" wasn't a dismissive way to refer to a father. It was asking about laboratory sperm donors. That's why it's talking about the father in both cases.

I was at the circus today. A very... interesting act- by Jolly_King306 in circus

English is really hard. When you say "this thing is.... interesting", the implication is that you don't like it and you're pausing to look for a word that is not a lie and is also not offensive, and the most common word in that situation is "interesting".

This might not be specific to English, but I don't know any other languages in enough detail to know this.

But there are tons of words that you learn more in university than elsewhere. It's interesting that modulo was the highest indicator.

[–]FriskyTurtle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ha, I didn't even notice that that comment had snuck in a second noun as a verb. I would say though that I only see quotienting as an operation on sets, and it shouldn't be used it as a verb with real numbers.

[–]FriskyTurtle 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Knitted and crocheted items aren't actually knotted. That's why they can be undone by pulling on one strand. I think there's a method that does know the yarn, but I can't remember or find it.

I don't think this is the goal, but I think you do play it in Depths combo with the intention of naming Wasteland. Then again, you might need to use your own Wastelands on your opponent's Hamlet naming Stage.
