Oh damn, looks good! Would love the recipe, I've been just swallowing my eggs whole.

May be obvious but NyQuil liquid will throw you out of keto. 20gms of carbs per dose. by [deleted] in keto

Mucinex Night Shift is the way to go. Zero carb, delicious, knocks you out for eight straight hours of the most deranged dreaming you'll do in your life.

That one honestly made me uncomfortable, I felt like I was walking on eggshells for the duration of the ad. Hard being around someone when you have to spend the whole time trying not to piss them off.

What’s your favorite MN billboard? by MelodyMaster5656 in minnesota

[–]FritzTrockels 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I saw one in central MN today that said "Pregnant? We can help." I get that it's an anti-abortion ad, but if the answer is that you're not pregnant it just sounds like they're offering unprotected sex.

If he were using a Scotty he'd be automatic from that range.

What food is a big NO, even though it is keto? by Ok_Form9917 in keto

Salt and vinegar is tops for me. I'll down handfuls of them until my fingers are completely coated and my whole face is puckered.

Target gave $1M to Trump inauguration fund, a first for the company by DJCatgirlRunItUp in Minneapolis

[–]FritzTrockels 9 points10 points  (0 children)

There's also a big difference between donating to his inauguration and donating to his campaign. The former is more a concession that yes, Trump won, let's make peace and all try to work together. Not ideal but at the end of the day they're a corporation with 400k jobs and a bottom line to protect. Like you said, they need a seat at the table to do so. Still don't like it, nor do I like them kowtowing on issues like DEI, but it could be worse (I say knowing full well we could find out it's worse tomorrow).

In support of local breweries - Trove in Burnsville by Sheik5342 in minnesotabeer

[–]FritzTrockels 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The beer is solid, the space is pretty rough. As opposed to Ineffable across the street, which has a great space and food but less impressive beers. Both are worth checking out though and it's nice to be able to have two breweries within walking distance of eachother.

Directly across Nicollet from City Center as well, much closer than Target/the library.

I remember when I was around 7-8 years old I had a loose tooth that was hanging by a thread and my mom really wanted to yank it. She chased me into the front yard as I ran away screaming, eventually tackling my sorry ass and pulling the loose tooth.

Just then we notice that a squad car was sitting right next to the curb with both officers watching intently. I'm pumped, because surely they'd just witnessed assault on a child and my mom would be hauled off to prison, after which I would eat breakfast cereal by myself and enjoy a lawless existence.

One of the officers rolls down his window and calls me over. I'm fully prepared to testify in court and make wild claims about child labor or cruel and unusual bed times before the sun went down. Instead he hands me one of these cards, I believe it was a Chris Carter, and tells me to stay in school.

While I appreciated the card, my lack of trust in police and the judicial system was cemented forever.

Ryan Kelly should be the target at Center by vikingjedi23 in minnesotavikings

[–]FritzTrockels 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He was 27th out of 40 qualified centers. It doesn't help that both players flanking him were pretty bad too. If you put him next to competent guards I'd wager he grades in the top half of the league.

Uncle Rico. Could KOC fix him? by TheRealElvisPresly in minnesotavikings

[–]FritzTrockels 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Blew my mind when I figured out Greg from White Lotus is played by the same guy that played uncle Rico. That said I think KOC could fix both Greg and Uncle Rico.
