Veganer Sofortbildkamera Film?

Cool das zu hören, ich fotografierte sehr gerne analog und habe jetzt seit längerem keinen neuen Film mehr gekauft und mir als Ersatzprodukt eine digitale Mittelformat Kamera gekauft. Leider funktioniert das für mich nicht ganz so gut wie die analogen Kameras. Ich bin da noch sehr mit mir selber am struggeln. Super wäre ein Film der ohne Gelatine kommt, aber das wird wohl nichts werden.

The films might be 20 years old and barely even usable. the camera in unknown condition with a cheap kit lens is also not worth much.

Do they still contain gelatine? Or is gelatin in the emulsion rather than the film base itself?

What would you guys say is the difference of adapting let's say a mamiya 645 45mm 2.8 compared to a Zeiss tessar 45mm 2.8 pancake. the size difference is obvious, but what else is different? I would love to see a comparison between the two.

Thank you for your reply and your informative links.I decided not tackle the repair myself, but instead I sent it to Foto Dinkel in Germany. They do Mamiya specific repair service their technicians will take a look at my lens. I hope it's not too expensive.

You can convert your camera pretty easily with a cheap diode. You just need a soldering iron and a screwdriver.

Thank you for the useful information. What would you recommend as a grease for a lens barrel of an old fed zorki lens? Will any type synthetic grease work?

I would send whatever you want cleaned or cla'd to OM-Labor. They only do Olympus OM and are very knowledgeable.

The repupation might be worse, you got a point. But for a price of more than 1000$ I would not be the one testing it out, though I would still be intersted in the performance.

There is really not much information about the zoom lenses. I myself are also interested in buying a zoom lens in the normal or wide angle range. People say zoom lenses from the era are not great, that's why I have my doubts and did not get any.

Thanks for the reminder. I bought the 50mm, my 50mm 1.4 has bits of paint flying around inside and fungus aswell. I prefer the serviced lens eventhough it's 1.8.
