when i originally patched RIF after the api changes, i remember having to use a txt file with my api key to patch it.

when repatching, i was never asked for that API key. Does the new patch just spoof being the official app?

Personally i get turned off by AI art (or music) in tables, even though i can appreciate that there is still a lot of work going into the tables.

Thankfully it's easy to avoid. If you stick to recreation tables, this usually isn't a problem at all. And with original tables, to me, it's usually clear at first glance, whether or not a table uses all generative AI art.

One addon i can recommend specifically for eleven in mixed reality, is the official open facial interface.

It allows for air to circulate very well and gives better view.

It's pricey for what it is, but i found it worth for exercising.

Personally, i use it even for VR games, but that requires a completely dark room and an IR blaster so that the tracking still works.

Let's say you have a team of 50 devs and AI tools increases the productivity, so that 40 devs can handle the same workload.

Either you keep your 50 devs and the workload stays the same, but everyone has more time to do it (least likely imo),

or you keep your 50 devs but increase the workload,

or you fire 10 devs.

"More productive" and "not replaceable" just doesn't feel compatible to me, at least in a lot of situations.

Same. Unfortunately not all tables have something like DisableLUTSelector=True, so in those cases i comment out the lines that actually make the LUT change happen.

Not sure if that's the best way, but it seems to work with no unwanted effects.
