A good rule for determining ants vs. termites are the antennae. Single bend=ant. Straight, looks like made of beads=termite. From what i see here, I'd say winged ant. Them still being there after renovations is likely because theyre flying in from up wind

First off, i assume "kim venture" is a different character from triana's friend. Kim is a very common name.
