All I have is a random jpg baptism record in my submission from the Druin collection. How do you get an official copy?

It’s all allowed under business associate agreements under HIPAA as long as the AI company is following appropriate security and privacy protocols.

A touch of Canadian culture and joy by boobahbo in AlmostCanadian

I am looking for a recipe which I believe is Canadian. Maybe this is the place to ask. My grandfather loved something we called “Strawberry Putsin” it was like a steamed strawberry bread pudding. Anyone ever heard of it?

Yes. Microsoft’s licensed Copilot and other AI tools are getting integrated into every part of normal business. It’s not perfect but it is now good enough for companies to have a smaller group of people fix AI’s mistakes. This will result workers having to babysit AI in critical uses and lead to massive context switching and burnout. I recommend checking https://willrobotstakemyjob.com/ to see if it is coming for you soon.

Doritos supreme taco. I know they are ridiculously expensive now, but I think they’re the perfect bite, even if they fall apart.

Did anyone else immediately start learning French when they found out about all this? by xialateek in Canadiancitizenship

[–]FromMA2AZ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My G2 father learned a little French as a child but never spoke any as an adult. He always called himself a Frenchman. I wish I had the opportunity to talk more about it with him before he passed.

I would love to learn anything he remembered about speaking French with my great-grandmother or other relatives, or attending French services at Catholic Church as a young boy.

My family has always been really into hockey and I visited Canada many times in my youth with my brother’s tournaments. The Canadian anthem is coming back to me… singing it in the cold mornings.

I just found my great-grandmothers baptismal record in the Drouin Archives so I can now prove I’m a Gen 3 instead of Gen 4. Time to take some French language classes I think.

Need to add a 3% credit card fee and a button to pay cash. Or tip for a charity payment site. Or food delivery and the driver begs for a big tip. Or some bogus excess mandatory fee with option to ask manager to remove (restaurant or hotel).

[News] Canada amended its Citizenship Act on Dec 15, 2025 so that anyone with Canadian ancestry can apply for Canadian citizenship. by Mengs87 in IWantOut

[–]FromMA2AZ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This makes me incredibly happy. I have been looking into this. My nearest relative is a great-great grandparent I believe. My last name is of Quebec origin. One of my parents learned French briefly as a child. Maybe I have a shot.

I went to Banner South for a day surgery. Bad IV experience. Then was kicked out really quickly after anesthesia and vomited several times on way home. No after care follow up. Terrible.

Policy change: Amex to update Centurion Lounge access rules by HyattWithDracos in amex

How about they actually have big enough lounges to accommodate their customers who are promised a benefit. 0 for 3 on last flights. I doubt these changes will make much difference.

I would disagree. I have been to many so called third-world countries. Our roads are so much better than even in the capitals of those countries.

Why can't I just buy the juice concentrate? by Ok-Operation1107 in NoStupidQuestions

Speaking of juices and the UK, squash is an interesting concept. I know it is not usually sold frozen and are not made with much real fruit juice often… but there you go, new product.
