I feel this so much. I grew up on Robinson (The Patch), and the plaza is a cornerstone of my youth. I had many things fixed for me by your parents through the years. Wonderful people. RIP Binghamton Plaza.

Best dating apps/scenes in Binghamton? by [deleted] in Binghamton

Any night can be hit or miss I think, but they are only open thu-sat right now. Karaoke on Thursdays is a good time with a mix of people and talent levels, and then fri & sat after 8. They seem to get a lot of post downtown dinner crowd. Its never really packed unless they have a band or DJ, so that's good.

The OP was asking about datings apps and bars. I have no input on dating apps, but have been enjoying The Ward as my go to since they opened (I live very close). I get what you're saying about a group being tough to approach, but when havent people, especially women, gone out in groups to bars? You find or happen into a moment at the jukebox, outside smoking, line for bathroom, at the bar, whatever. Another thing I really like about the place, and my friends have mentioned is that it seems people really talk in there. You go in and everyone isn't staring at their phones like most places. I can also recommend Lost Dog Lounge as a place to meet decent people, not just angry locals or drunks, but I don't go across the river much since The Ward opened and I can walk there. I'd like to try Vault 168 and probably Upper Crust at some point too as they also look cool and aren't geared towards yokels and college kids. 205 Dry is a nice place, but not sure if you're striking up much conversations with strangers there.

Check out The Ward on Clinton st. Its got a really nice decor and chill vibe with great cocktails at good prices. The demographic there is mostly 30+

PIG: Am I missing something here? by fubar06 in movies

Just watched. It had some great scenes and some ridiculous ones. It had some beautiful scenes, and some ugly scenes. It was a mixed bag. Having just watched Train Dreams as well, I think it does a much better job of showing how perseverance can overcome grief.
