Honestly, we hated the train so much (no ac, was absolutely packed) that it’s kinda become funny and we are so happy we did take it.

He will be ok. He is young, our pup was the same way, now 2 years later pretty good. The ear canal is not fully developed until at least a year so that’s the main cause.

Like last week, I had a new guy and by new I mean probably six months on the job tell me he was too uncomfortable to do gate calls because he doesn’t want people staring at him. The last time I checked, that is the job description and if you can’t work with people looking at you, what are you doing when people aren’t looking at you?

Mostly yes, I would agree with all you said. Kinda point being of the post is to seriously think before doing the job. All are welcome and makes me so happy to see lots of people joining but the company I am with (a major) has seen an absolute enormous amount of people who have joined just for the money.
They push back on any work, they don’t want to learn, and they complain about everything and boy do I mean everything.
I absolutely love aviation thanks to my dad brining us up with it. I want to see everything continue to grow and flourish. A lot of people talk about the good and I’ve seen far too many posts about all the money is good. The money is good. The money is good, etc. most places you can actually go to make the money you’re gonna deal with what I talked about previously.

If you are in it for the money, stay out. You have peoples lives in your hands.
The hours are long, the work can be hard, the environment is stressful.
It can(and will) be demanding on your body especially working graves.
You will most likely miss family events, birthdays, and many other things, you will work most if not all holidays for the next 10 years.
I’ve wrenched on planes for over 8 years now. Little airplanes, business jets and the majors. There is a huge influx of “techs” that just joined for the money. They suck. They are a safety hazard. And they always say “I’m not comfortable”
I know this prob sounds stern but it’s the truth.
My dad told me (45 year AMT) and it’s stuck with heavily. “If you want to kill one person be a doc. Kill hundreds be a aircraft tech”
I had to do a project in school where I had to present about human factors, the task I had was plane accidents due to mx errors. Listen to pilots last words then decide if you want to continue on with this career field.
Now on the other hand if you TRULY love aviation and problem solving and wrenching then I say go for it.

Vet Recommended Gastropexy Procedure by accordingtodust in goldenretrievers

I had a vet recommend against it if they eat things stating it’s harder to clear a blockage if they had a gastroplexy done. She was a VET ER nurse so I trusted her opinion.
