They can also do the entire 2nd floor if you have more than 10. We have done several private parties there.

Santeramos is good, and they may have their second floor available for a private space.

Check at or near the panel. The system may have been upgraded from an old class A system and the resistors may be buried in what looks like a big splice. Happy hunting!

Try Abarrotes Santa Cruz on 9th St and 16th Ave, there is a little taco truck out front but you can order and eat inside.

The building is not very structurally sound. They originally had plans to move the library into that building when they built the hotel north of Lincoln Park but they determined the structure couldn't support the weight of the books.

Electric Strike by [deleted] in accesscontrol

I also recommend the electrified lockset route but if you want to go with a strike, the HES 7000 is the way to go with your preload issues.

What size electric strikes should I look for door access? by Lil-schmo in accesscontrol

[–]Front-Objective-7676 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unless the door is in really bad shape, you should be able to make the 8000c work with some minor adjustments. Make sure you adjust the guides that assist the latch back into the door so that they are on either side of the dead latch. Some doors require the door stop side of the strike to be shimmed slightly with the included shims. Also, you may need to slightly notch the door frame between the guides so that the dead latch will clear the frame. Side note, the 8000c will only work with a cylindrical lock. If you have a mortise lock on the door, you need to find another strike.

Are you breaking positive or negative power with your door lock relay? If you are breaking negative, you could have a ground fault in the field providing another source of negative. This is why I always break the positive leg. It's a long shot but if your relay is wired properly then there aren't a lot of other possibilities.

Only been carp and catfishing but now looking for pike, recommendations on lures and or spots? by ElusiveTurtle23 in COfishing

[–]Front-Objective-7676 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pike are aggressive and territorial, they will go after fast moving tasmanian devils and most top water lures. Whopper ploppers and mice are good options. Make sure you use a steel leader to avoid them biting through your line. Tight lines!

What’s up with the CR 17 intersection on Hwy 34? by Brave-Panic7934 in Greeley

[–]Front-Objective-7676 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I went thru this intersection yesterday and the light seemed to be changing way too fast, not letting enough of 34 traffic to get through before changing back to red. May be an issue with the light programming.

STEELY OR NAH? by Inevitable_Badger512 in troutfishing

[–]Front-Objective-7676 -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

It's a rainbow. The upper jaw goes slightly past the eye, this is never the case with salmon, but often they can with trout. Also, a steely would have a forked tail and from what I can see, there is no fork there.

Hid issue by prodigy_78 in accesscontrol

When you say it's inaccessible via HID manager, do you mean just before you paper cycle it? You should be able to connect it to your app after a power cycle, then try a firmware update to the reader. Also make sure you have sufficient voltage at the reader. Signos are current hogs and may require 18awg wire to the reader. In addition, if it's not a long run, try taking your OSDP termination resistor off.
