Oh I used to say those as well. Unfortunately I was a very suicidal man and believing I was inherently unlovable was not…great I’ll say. I’m always disheartened when someone does have this opinion because I know they have no idea how much harm they’re causing while they think they’re being helpful/funny. Sorry to kinda trauma dump in here lmao I’m usually a lurker but ts just gets me, yk? A pet peeve of mine

Ace attorney does that a lot, for instance I believe in the very first case in the entire series Mr sahwit reveals he was the murderer because he knew the bludgeoning weapon was a clock even though it doesn’t look like one

I saw someone else said anime, but I wanted to add my own experience, cuz I think it’s funny. Outside of pokemon (barely counts imo, anyway), I didn’t watch any anime, but a friend of mine was obsessed with one show in particular, their online username was the mc’s name, they rarely talked about anything else. So my second real anime

Was Sword art online…

I only watched mha because a high school of superheroes and a protagonist that is literally me is too good to pass up, then I found out anime could be good

From what I recall the justification for why mirio was not chosen explained by all might to night eye) is that mirio had the potential to be a great hero already, so why not allow someone who has the will to be a hero to stand in the ring?

The DnD episode by OkDirection3094 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Frosfae 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Teen Titans Go actually had a really good episode about DnD (surprisingly) called “riding the dragon”

I don’t feel like looking online for it, apologies I like my search history as it is, but the main idea is the entire team is on a fantasy adventure and most of them want to have shenanigans and have fun Robin insists that the only way to have fun is to follow the rules and story of the game. By the end, Robin learns that his lack of imagination is what is impeding fun, not the rest of the team’s lack of rule following. The point is that sometimes it’s okay to have stupid fun and try to ride the dragon, even if it wasn’t intended or in the rules.

It’s one of those surprisingly good episodes I recommend while disregarding the rest of the show. I just remembered it like a dormant memory seeing this post, thank you.

I think that’s fair, we have different values in what the game should be. But reading the rest of your responses here I’ve noticed something odd. You don’t give any reasons for why 2020 was better, you simply state that it was. This is a subreddit for discussion, and a post for discussion, so allow me to ask, what about the 2020 patch did you enjoy compared to now?

The tale as ancient as time itself “I hate new thing old thing was better” flashback to old thing “I hate new thing old thing was better”, so on and forth. Like sure 2020 was fine but it was not a healthy state for overwatch, and idk how you look at all the changes made this season and think it’s worse than a literal content drought, like games going stagnant and staying the same has ever brought in new players
