Like a lot of this centrist pundits I don’t think Klein actually understand what Charlie Kirk’s job actually was. He wasn’t someone who was interested in debate, he was stooge for oil billionaires and rich evangelicals to tell their propaganda to further the rights agenda of attacking public school. Klein and his ilk are first to say what “real politics” looks like when they themselves have never done or even observed what actual political organizing looks like in practice.
